1. Download
The download consists of two files. Download and extract both of them.

2. Installation
2.1. Copy all files from the extracted Mafia 3 ScriptHook archive into your Mafia III directory

X:\Programme\Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia III

The structure will look like this:
  • mafia3.exe
  • M3ScriptHookLauncher.exe
  • M3ScriptHook.dll

2.2. Copy KNGToggleMinimalHUD.lua from the extracted Toggle Hud archive into the scripts folder in your Mafia III directory

X:\Programme\Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia III\scripts
3. Use
  1. Start Mafia III first
  2. Run M3ScriptHookLauncher.exe once the game has started.
  3. Simply press K to toggle the minimal HUD ON/OFF



Crash:
  1. You have installed the mod incorrectly
  2. Your FPS options are set to (unlimited), set them to (60) FPS.
  3. You start M3SkriptHook too early in the menu. Please start the M3 ScriptHook if you are in the game directly after the loading screen.
  4. Try to run both tools in compatibility mode win 7 and as admin

ridiculous that the devs didn't made a simple hotkey to hide the hud. not even in their "definitive edition"...

cant find "KNGToggleHUD.lua" nowhere(in extracted files by search or even in archive):sad_creep: Maybe someone knows what is that?

game crash when i try start M3ScriptHookLauncher.exe and yeah we not so extremely stupid to not understand instructions, it's just not working :steamfacepalm:

any future updates to make this game run well or did they just "finish" (gave up) on updating this game because i'm not seeing any official statements by the devs of their next patch update

This mod does not work. I reload script hook and I am pressing K to no effect.

It doesn't work. I put plugins, scripts, M3ScriptHook.dll, M3ScriptHookLauncher and README to Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia III and i put KNGToggleHUD.lua and KNGToggleHUDReadMe to Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia III\scripts. Then i run the game and when i am in game (as Lincoln, in the city) i press alt+tab and run M3ScriptHookLauncher. Game crash to windows. I have Win7 64bit.
