描述
NOTICE: Neon Chrome needs to be restarted after activating this mod for it to work properly. Restart is also needed after any visit to the mod menu. This is because somehow the mod menu seems to reload this mod incompletely.

This mod aims to make the game more action-oriented and to necessitate "thinking on your feet" from the player, providing more challenges to players who've finished the original game.

Meant to be played with a new profile, but nothing prevents using an existing profile - credits earned and stats purchased with this mod active are saved to the used profile.


Features:
* Constant, increasingly numerous enemy reinforcements
* Credits for finishing levels
* Faster characters with shields and deadlier weapons
* Faster music (cc licensed, see credits for details)
* Over the top rate of fire upgrades
* 50+ levels with added variety
* Previously unseen boss levels
* Numerous other tweaks and changes, for example, enemy riot shields are destroyed after taking some damage

Planned:
* General balancing
* More reinforcement entry points
* Weapon/enhancement additions and balancing

whoa, Vivaporious is using, at time of writing, an avatar I made for a game I made [its on Steam too, back when it was near impossible lol pre-Greenlight anywho...]. I was told by the computer so fast and randomly to "make a bunch of avatars for your game!" - so I just made like 10 images from the screenshots to hand. Being a solo dev was so taxing back then. Everythings so much more regimented and slow-paced now. The game did okay back then but it's soooOOOO weird feeling, as I'm more of a private hide-away kinda chap than the famous ones that can perform xD I hope you're all good out there. I'm gonna go back to hiding away xoxox [PS I LOVE NEON CHROME. Just got an OLED Deck, been away from PC games for 10 years. Been pretty awesome seeing my 17yo Steam account and all its games, many delisted now, with some awesome complimentary packs from publishers etc things even that Steam database site thing doesn't pick up on ie secret librari... sauna mod-...-e ..... . . Say whaaa{BZZZTttt}

any upgrades you get should increase fire rate, health, and reload. damage would be good.
money is secondary, but get the "money per elevator" and the "double bullet" upgrade is a life saver.

before you even think of getting an asset out, buy the "35% health on next elevator" mod. get a gun with good fire rate, not necessarily accuracy. go in. run. run until you get to the next exit. if you slow down, you lose more health than the elevator recovers. get what you can, but if it's too out of the way, DON'T. and DO NOT BOTHER TRYING TO KILL EVERYTHING!
playing without first having at least 25 in all categories is a death sentence.

This would be great without the constant reinforcements. Barely have time to do anything.

It crashes in level 13. There's just a blank level with no structures

Way too many riot shields in level 7 or so. Cant kill them even when firing grenade launcher constantly.

Wow, this mod really bumps up the difficulty. I love the way you seem to have intended this. The overseer sending so many inforcements seems something I would do if I was the OS. As a player the amount of reinforcements does seem a bit too much.

At vanilla, I thought the game was getting hard at OS 4. Now I am getting wasted before level 5. Ouch.

cannot get it to load.
I can activate it and restart, but it is still not loaded.
It is displayed on the mod list as (null).
