An illustrated guide meant for sharing various experimentations related to the tower defense approach in 7DTD.
Each of my builds (tested or not ingame) is detailed in this guide in a simple manner. You are free to follow them, to study them and make them yours. Any suggestions, propositions, comments and thanks are welcome.

An indicator on the top left of the blueprint (purely speculative) is there to give you an idea of the ideal moment to use them without risk.

On the other hand, a few precisions (approximative) regarding the necessary ressources are quantified in the cartouche. You are free to pick the materials according to your state of progress in the game.

Un guide illustré destiné à partager diverses expérimentations en rapport avec l'approche tower defence de 7DTD. Chacune de mes constructions (testée ou non sur le terrain) est détaillée dans ce guide de manière très simple. Libre à vous de les suivre, de les étudier et de vous les approprier. Toutes suggestions, propositions, commentaires, remerciements sont les bienvenus.

Un indicateur en haut à gauche du plan (purement spéculatif) à pour but de vous donner une idée du moment idéal pour les utiliser sans risque.

Par ailleurs, quelques précisions (approximatives) quant aux ressources nécessaires sont quantifiées dans le cartouche. Libre à vous de choisir les matériaux selon votre état d'avancement dans le jeu.

Defensive Fortress

The "Defensive Fortresses" are defensive systems that have the goal to establish an (almost) impenetrable perimeter, thus giving the survivor(s) a relative serentity. The objective of these various buildings is also to search for the best balance protection/visibility. This combination reveals to be crucial to survival in 7DTD after a certain level.

Les "Defensive Fortress" sont des systèmes défensifs qui ont pour objectif d'établir un périmètre (quasi) impénétrable, conférant ainsi au survivant(s) une relative sérénité. L'objectif de ces différents ouvrages est par ailleurs de rechercher le meilleur rapport protection/visibilité. Cette combinaison s'avère essentielle à la survie dans 7DTD passé un certain niveau.

Killing Machine

The "Killing Machines" are experimental buildings destined to the eradication of an important number of zombies. For use exclusively during the Blood Moon phases.

I started playing pretty late, right before 1.0 dropped, so this guide was very confusing at first.
Some very important items are no longer available: Barbed Wire, Log Spike, Wood Railing, Iron Fence, Scrap Iron Gate. I had to search for replacements.
I guess Log Spikes can be replaced by Wood/Iron Spikes Traps.
For Scrap Iron Gates, Iron Bars are similar enough functionally (ranged weapon projectiles pass through them).
For Barbed Wire, Wood/Iron Spikes Traps or Barbed Wire Fences can also hang from the walls and damage falling or passing zombies.
Horizontal Wood Railings/Iron Fences — can’t say anything yet.
As for the shapes, the Frame is called the Cube, and frame ramp is called the Ramp. Frame variands of both of them exist (if you want everything you build to look transparent), and they are called Cube Frame and Ramp Frame.

Spent days 7-35 on the Last Hole 2 concept but every time the Z's attack the hole from the side and dig down ending up in a random side at each horde night I've played trough since then.

Still a good way to waste their time but the intended fall trap is a miss in my opinion.

Sadly it seems this guide is outdated since zombies can dig. Was a very nice high quality guide tho.
