Description
Offices have always been a place I found disturbing... the idea that you'd go to a job and do the exact same thing over and over every day in the exact same workspace makes you feel caged.
What's a better place to kill Zeds in?

[[Not only is this the first map I've ever made using the KF2 SDK, this is also my first Workshop upload, so, if something is wrong, please bear with me as I'm still a complete noob at this kind of stuff...
That being said, I hope some people enjoy this map! I also really want tips and ((criticism)) from some map making veterans.]]

V.1.6 - Additional Office room added, additional vent spawns, more objects around map

@Najix

That's certainly weird, but I wouldn't put it passed a possible corruption or missing files with downloads, I've had the same thing happen to me before for both games and workshop.

Glad you found what seems like the problem though, let me know if the problem persists.

Hi, seems to work when playing on the new server, which I have just put the map into, however on my existing server it says 'package mismatch' then 'Received map' then puts you back to the KF2 opening screen... strange, seems like the server is keeping a cached version somewhere!
Edit:
Ok so looks like the map downloaded on the non-working server was 1kb larger than the working server, copied the working map over and it seems to be working now, possibly some kind of corruption when the server downloaded the map?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me, the server is up to date, I have the redirect pointing at this steam package ID, I have tried clearing the cached maps on the server (both under kf2game\cache and Binaries\Win64\steamapps\workshop\content\232090) I have also cleared it from the local cache on my PC. I have set up a second server, which I will try it on and get back to you.

@Najix

Is the server up-to-date?

I am able to host it- as is a person I use to test things for me.

I will update it again, incase I may have missed an update myself, but it might just be that the server it's hosted on isn't updated to the lastest version.

Let me know if that was (or wasn't) the problem!

Since the update, it no longer seems to work on the server, comes up as Package Version Mismatch

@Scarbeus

Incredibly indepth review.
Very nice and highlights exactly what needs to be fixed, I'll go through and start the edits as soon as a I can get the time.
Thank you. :tbpwink:

Very good for a first map, I made a review video for you with some tips and my thoughts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iJGGkkOac0

Also, you should post your video on the official forums as it's viewed by a lot of other map makers who can give you some help too: http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/forum/killing-floor-2/killing-floor-2-modifications/level-design-ac/final-map-releases-aa

I hope this helps :)

@High Velocity Raptor

I was just told about the same thing from a friend.
I'll see about moving it either outside the bathroom doors or to an entirely new location.

It's a nice map. I run it on my small server and we found it's a very tight and fast paced, ideal for zerks and firebugs and whatnot. With all the rooms and hallways to choose from our favorite place to hold on suicidal is inside the testing lab facing out to a long hallway and chance of closer zeds to the right. From there's only one way in (minus the random vent) but of course there's no way out. My only criticism so far is that one trader inside the 2nd floor bathroom could be moved. I see players trying to use the trader who end up closing the door. Also on larger player counts with collision on you have players bump in to each other and get stuck or old school trolling by standing in front of the trader to block everyone. Troll teams could also go support and weld the door closed. Placing the trader outside of the bathroom is one way to solve it. Anyways, good map thanks
