Better Polynesian City Names

Descrição
A main issue with the Polynesian City List in the Polynesian DLC was that it featured the names of Islands and Countries in Polynesia instead of actual cities and villages. This has been rectified with the Better Polynesian City Names mod, which changes the city names to actual cities, for example:

Samoa -> Apia
Tonga -> Nuku'alofa
Aotearoa -> Parihaka

Umm, actually, it is. Aotearoa is New Zealand, the southernmost part of Polynesia. The people that lived there were the Maori, a part of the Polynesian ethnic group and descendents of Polynesian navigators. So yes, Aotearoa is Polynesia.

Yeah, exactly. It's the name for the whole of New Zealand, all 269,000 square kilometres of it. That's a fairly large city. So I've replaced it with Parihaka, which was a major Maori settlement within New Zealand

Perfect! Fixes a huge Firaxis oversight...

Thanks, but it's not necissary. I took the code (And gave him credit) from the Better Japanese City Names mod, I can't remember the author though

I'd like to use this as a base for replacing the Finnish city-names in Sweden, if that's OK with you. Of course, I'd give you full credit for the original code!

Was the problem of Nuku'alofa appearing as Nuku"alofa fixed?

Bah, never mind.

I don't understand. I've subscribed to several mods, including this one. They've all installed properly in-game and I've enabled them by checking and hitting next, but none of them seem to work when I start up a new game. I have G&K, is this compatible? If so, what could be the problem?

Yeah, I couldv'e. I chose Parihaka instead as it was a larger Maori settlement at the time and is a large part of Polynesian history
