It was late at night, the three person squad consisted of venus, saturn, and mars by their codenames. It was a full moon so all other survivors were in there base hoping not to be eaten or shot, this was the perfect time to raid the Base Olympia Military base, there was promised good gear there and since it was midnight and full moon, and it would be no trouble getting there and no trouble in there. Yea it was a full moon but they had gear and weren't afraid of putting a few zombies down.
“You guys ready to go?”
“Yea lets go”
They got in there car, it was a black van nothing special but it had gas so it was special cause that's hard to come around in these days. It had been multiple years since the outbreak, so people were getting used to this, this is how your daily life is go out kill some zombies, maybe kill another human if you're lucky but it was normal some kids that were around four had been born in the apocalypse and have no clue what it was like before. They started driving, they left the headlights off so that they won't be noticed unless you hear the engine but if you could you were about to be ran over, the car was a black color so nobody could see the car, they pulled into the military base, they saw a few undead hear and there, you couldn't hear any off the undead moans the rain muffles them.
“Guys use suppressors we don't want to attract a horde and only shoot the ones you need to we got limited ammo” said venus
“Ok sure”
Venus pulled out his shadow stalker from his bag.
“You're telling us to be quite?” Saturn said.
“It's just for emergencies”
Venus put it in his hunting sling then pulled out a Viper, Mars and Saturn rolled there eyes and got out there maplestrike and Honey badger. They looked in the front gate.Pitch black nothing but the hundreds of red glowing eyes.
“I hope this doesn't go wrong”
Venus snuck through under the right front watchtower, there were a few zombies in the tents they were soldiers they had armor so Venus pulled out his Military knife with a flakten print on the blade and made quick work without much noise but with a bloody blade he put it back in his belt, he stood against the wall between the two barracks and pulled out his shadow stalker he had there back covered.
“You good to move in” venus radio to the others
“Finally”
Mars and saturn moved into the base taking cover on each wall they found on the ham radio messenger they received a report of a hulk somewhere in washington.
“It's ok guys he probably somewhere else”
“I Hope so”
Saturn and mars were moving efficiently and silent taking zombies out with 1 bullet each and grabbing what was necessary and what wasn't. They came across a ammo box but it was locked
“Hey venus, get over here with you blow torch”
“Where are you?”
“The first armory to you left”
Mars went outside and waved his gun in the air, then he dropped the gun. The gun hit the floor with a crack the suppressor broke off and the gunshot, they heard a growl and saw a huge pair of red eyes come out of the admirals office.
“Oh no”
Then out of nowhere a super loud bang smacked them hard busted everybody's eardrum in a 5 mile radius, Venus had shot the shadow stalker at the megas head, you could vividly sea the major hole in his cheek and mouth area, the mega yelled of anger and pained a majorly dangerous combination for such a dangerous thing, the yell was so loud that even the newly deaf people could hear it then with a swift pull of bolt and insert of rail another shot hit the mega in a chest leaving another heavy dent but not enough to take the behemoth down.
“Jesus Christ how many shots can this thing take”
“I don't know were trying to get a vantage point”
Mars and saturn were jumping over walls and shooting down undead. There were hundreds of them, they turned the corner and slid past the alleyway on there knees shooting the hulk as they slid by. This took some attention off of venus giving him time to bull another rail into the chamber.
“I'M TAKING THE SHOT”
Then the hulk got hit in the arm and his arm became a few strangle of spare meat and tissue.
“I'M OUT OF AMMO”
Mars and Saturn came behind the hulk and sprayed their weapons on him, while he was distracted Venus tossed a Frag under him.
“GET BEHIND SOMETHING”
Mars and Saturn leaned behind the wall and there clothes flapped in the shockwave, Venus was on the floor scrambling away, he looked in his pockets and felt another rail he pulled it out and put it in the gun, Venus looked through the scope knowing if he missed him as his friends were dead he held his breath it went slow-mo they sway of the scope was heavy with drops on the scope and all his clothes wet and blood everywhere he focused his brain and everything on the scope it went silent to him everything froze and he began to squeeze the trigger, the mega now standing over saturn about to crush him with a huge boulder, Then the silent was ended with a huge bang and the stillness ended with the megas body falling limb and smacking the ground with a blood curtailing pound.
