Free Expansion - Totalitarianism

解説
This is a all in one compliation of my other stand alone mods from the "Free Expansion" series.

Removes upkeep for:
Units, buildings, and roads.

Unhappiness from:
Population size, founding new cities, and occupation penalties.

I have other mods that allows you to remove (cheat) the invidual unpleasant aspects of the game that you don't like. You can check them out in the link below.

**Disclaimer Note For Everyone After (January 21, 2020): Yes this mod applies to the the AI also. Just because it applies to everyone doesn't change the fact that its a cheat mod because you cheating the game mechanics that were designed by the developers. Not to mention you as a human player are capable of doing things and understanding certain concepts and strategies the AI has no idea about. Also the AI generally cheats anyways either through hidden bonus or certain mechanics not being applied to them, so by removing hindrances to the player you are making things both more fair and unfair at the same time. Its more fair in the sense that you and the AI are closer to playing by the same rules. But at the same time its unfair for the AI because you have a brain and can learn and adapt to different situations, while the AI is scripted to do same thing over and over and can't adapt.

**Disclaimer Note For Everyone After (February 5, 2015): This mod is a cheat mod, not an overhaul. Meaning its NOT suppose to be balanced.

I am open to useful opinions and suggestions.

If you comment only with "this mod makes the game too easy" you will be met with extreme prejudice. My only response to people like you is "NO ♥♥♥♥ EINSTEIN! DO YOU WANT A COOKIE???"

You have the right to that opinion. Its actually a fact not an opinion that this mod makes the game to easy. But what makes you an unwanted person is that you feel the need to point out the obvious.

Follow these steps to claim your cookie!
1. Show that your selfish silly W A N K E R by saying "this mod makes the game too easy" in comments.
2. Click on the pictures of cookies.
3. Choose a cookie that you like.
4. Bring out a webcam/camera to record your monitor and the following steps.
5. Poke at the cookie you want.
6. Lick the cookie that you want.
7. Punch the monitor where you licked it really hard! Punch it hard enough to break your monitor, but don't actually break your monitor otherwise you won't get your cookie.
8. Upload your video of you doing this on youtube then post it in comments.
9. Your cookie will magically appear!

@Redlink1029, I am 6 months late in responding, but just to answer it for future reference. You can still gain and lose happiness like normal with the exception of Unhappiness from population size, founding new cities, and occupation penalties.

Nice mod, also the thumbnail picture made me laugh.

Yes it does. Though it doesn't really matter since the AI cheats anyways and already has basically unlimited money and other bonuses.

Thank you, good sir. I don't play very often anymore either, but if I find some spare time I will try that.

What you want would require me to into every building individually to reduce their upkeep values. Which would be simple but very time consuming, and would be a completely different process. Sadly I don't play the game anymore, and I have never actually played the game past the the classical age... so I wouldn't even know what the name of the buildings are and which buildings would need to be have their costs reduced in the game files.

So I am sorry to say I am probably not going to make a new mod to do what you're requesting. But you could always download the Civ 5 SDK toolkit on steam, and make the mod yourself. The SDK kit is very simple to use, and you can download it under tools in the library tab. It includes a pdf manual that will show you how to use the kit, which will only take 5-10 minutes of reading to find out how to use it. So best of luck to you.
