An Unofficial CiVilization 5 Expansion
Brave New World Edition

Religion Capitals
Customise your CiV and use these new buildings to make sure you are able to found a religion before other players.

The Company
Companies have been added to the game which allow you to use early game(or late game) resources when you can no longer use them on units.

The Corporation
Corporations have been added to the game which are expanded companies giving you more strategic resources to build those companies.

Power Plants
The Power plant system has been redesigned with three new power plants. Hydro, Coal and Geothermal.

Refineries
The Recycling Center has now been joined by the Oil Refinery to give you another source of late game resources. Also the Stable and Forge have become Refineries.

Combat
All the units in the game have gotten a balance pass to maintain a rock-paper-sissors type gameplay thats there from that start but seems to fall off in the end game.

Modern Era Units
Air units use Aluminum and Tank/Naval units use Oil all the way up to the end of the game. The information era units now have a cost of 2.

Building Balance
Existing buildings have been given a working over, buildings now have a basic and a complex bonus. This concept of bonuses has been carried on into the retail game in recent ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ patches. AI uses buildings better.

Wonders
Now are mutually exclusive per era, excluding the social wonders. Meaning it's harder to build every wonder in a single city you have to spread them out.

New Buildings
12 new meaningful building additions that help fill some gaps in the game. Provides a more interesting game for a builder player.

Happiness
Luxury resources now give 2 happiness but this is offset by having more happiness buildings. This makes it easy to expand and you arn't tied to luxury resources. Happiness variety system has been activated which gives you 1 happiness for each different luxury you have.

Policy
The Rationalism policy tree has had a revision and should encourage science cities with academies.

Wonders
Are now mutually exclusive for their era excluding the social wonders. Now you have to spread wonders around to other cities in your empire.

True Eough I may lower the cost or up the numbers.

The changes to all the buildings were to make them more AI friendly. There is almost nothing that can be built that doesn't have a passive bonus. So no matter what the AI builds in it's cities it's useful even if not as useful as a player.

Solid rework. The AI really seemed to like it as this was the only game that normal AI were actually able to somewhat keep up with me in. Which I guess says something about it's balance changes. Only change I could think of to suggest is maybe buff the Childrens thing in Social Empathy. A +! in anything doesn't really mean much during the modern era.

I just played with the mod yesterday and I've not run into any pre-req issues. I will start it again to check.

@Cyrinno I didn't say they aren't working, I said they don't seem to have a prerequisite. (The only 'mod' I'm using is a map pack and some unrelated mods. That shouldn't interefere with techs.)

@Cyrinno Corporation and Tourism lack any prerequisites. I can research them at 4,000 BC (or get either for free with the Great Library).
