Yes, this is the starting point, literally. This one is the most well-hidden spot I think and I bet 80% players won't find this spot cuz not many people would go back here again.

Clean the poison surface then climb through the vine ladder. This is the way to kill some turtles along with some loot.
U can steal some 2 bed rolls ( which can be used for healing without enemy around you) and a fire ball scroll in the tent. Better one talks with the elf, the other steals.

One is up there (actually it's a kid's secret spot)

After u beat those frogs( which could be a tough fight unless u sneak in and pick the right position, or just let one of ur chara choose the "Zombie" perk.Remember don't stand too close to those torches or just turn them off. Frogs‘ poison + fire can be fatal ), u can toss it to your side.
