Removing Green Spill from Screenshots

In this guide I will show you how to remove "Green Spill" around edges from greenscreen, to give you that nice realistic look.

What you will need.

[color=#099aff]To follow along this guide, all you need is a greenscreen image and Photoshop (I'm using Photoshop CC 2015). I believe this can also be done in Gimp, but I never used it so I'm not sure. In my exmaple I will be using [color=#09ff0e]Greenscreen [color=#099aff]of [color=#ffffff]M9 Crimson Web Minimal Wear.[color=#099aff] So, here's my image:

[color=#099aff]Ok so let's start. At the top, go to [color=#ffffff]Select>Color Range [color=#099aff] and using the [color=#ffffff]Eye Dropper with + sign, [color=#099aff] click on the green background so all the green is white and everything else is black, like this:

and click [color=#ffffff]OK.

[color=#099aff]Next, to remove the bright green from the edges, go to [color=#ffffff]Select>Modify>Expand by 1px[color=#099aff] like this:

and click [color=#ffffff]OK.

[color=#099aff]The selection is inverted, to invert it so it's how we want it press [color=#ffffff]Ctrl+Shift+i [color=#099aff] and click [color=#ffffff]Add Layer Mask[color=#099aff] like this:

Ok, so we have extracted the weapon, but as you can see there is a lot of green tint spilled near the edges. We will now remove this defect. To see better [color=#ffffff]Create Black background, [color=#099aff] [color=#ffffff] make new layer and set its blend Blend Mode to Color.

[color=#ffffff]Select Brush tool [color=#099aff]and press[color=#ffffff] Alt[color=#099aff] to sample the color around the sleeve that we want the green spill change to and start painting. [color=#b7251e]In my example I will only be painting the sleeve and the glove, because Color Blend Mode will obscure/remove the black webbing. I will be using Hue blend mode for that.

[color=#099aff] Now let's create[color=#ffffff] New Layer and set the Blend Mode to Hue.[color=#099aff]

and gain same like last time [color=#ffffff] Sample the color [color=#099aff]using [color=#ffffff]Alt [color=#099aff] and start paining.

Now let's make [color=#ffffff] Clipping masks [color=#099aff] from our [color=#04f409]Green Spill [color=#ffffff]Fixing Layers. [color=#099aff]To do that simply [color=#ffffff] press Alt and click on the gap between the layer above:

So that's it! You have now learned how to remove [color=#04f409]Green Spill [color=#099aff] from your images! Here's my [color=#ffffff]Finished Screenshot:

Veltox got something true, sometime people that want to spread malware across the internet are putting it in free software of like in ads, most of the mediafire of shorten links are going to open an other link in your web browser in a new tab so be aware of malware and other harmfull software

here some tips to avoid it.
Link/Url check at {LINK REMOVED}
if you downloaded an file, before opening it check it with file check at {LINK REMOVED}
run an selective scan and put the file in there.
use "devextras.codereflect" to see the code and check is there are suspicious codes.
If you saw it on youtube, check the comments. ( if there are more "virus" and bad reactions about it than good ones don't download it)

Be aware that PNG and other file formats can contain code's / viruses and or malware.
