Zoom to Mouse

Moves the camera towards the mouse when zooming in, making maneouvring the map a little bit easier.


Does not require a new save game
Can safely be enabled/disabled in ongoing saves.

CCL is recommended
If CCL is loaded, the mod will work in old saves. If CCL is not loaded, the mod will only work in new saves - and it will throw a single error that can safely be ignored.

To keep the mod simple*, I haven't detoured the core zoom mechanics. This mod simply checks the map position relative to the cursor before and after zooming, and adjusts accordingly. The result is a slight jittering, and instant map movement if the mouse is moved during zooming.

*: And to keep my own sanity. I did try detouring the code responsible for map movement/zoom - but with detours and a lot of reflections, I ran into issues that gave me a headache. I might try again later.
