Preamble
Hello, and welcome to my first guide. Here, I hope to teach you a little more about the elusive race, the Maormer, and will show you how to create one of you very own. Ratings and comments are appreciated. I would like to thank the YouTube channel FudgeMuppet for inspiring me to learn more about the Elder Scrolls lore, and endowing me with the love of Skyrim builds. Please check them out!
Lore and History
The Maormer are a race of Elves from the southern tropics of the continent of Pyandorea. Their name translates into Sea Elves, Tropical Elves, or Fish Elves. Like their cousins, the Altmer (High Elves), the Maormer as magically talented, specializing in the control of snakes, sea serpents, and the weather. However, the Sea Elves and High Elves have warred many times over the Summerset Isles the Maormer feel so cheated out of.

Maormer Physical Appearance
The appearance of the Sea Elves remains fairly in line with their tropical home, with skin ranging from pure white to pale green, and hair that can be clack, white, or green. They also bare milky, pupil-less eyes.

The Maormer have only appeared in the Elder Scrolls Online, but have been mentioned in every game since TES3: Morrowind.

The Maormer as they appear in ESO:

Creating you Maormer
To start out, you will need to start a new character and access the character creation menu.

NOTE: It is not recommended that you edit one of you current characters, as this process requires the use of the setrace console command. Use of this command can cause unwanted changes to your character's stats and skills levels.

[1] You will want to start with the High Elves, as they bare the closest resemblance to the Maormer in terms of size and facial structure. Choose you gender before you preform any further steps.

[2] Hit the ~ key (it is the left of the 1 key on a standard keyboard). This will open up the console. This is where you will enter in the commands to edit the appearance of you character.
[3] In the console, type in player.setrace argonian. You will know it worked when you have argonian teeth and a tongue sticking out of your character's nose.

[4] Go to the skin tone slider and move it around until you find a shade you like. (Remember to stay in the greens, greys, and whites)

[5] If you wish to have green hair on you Maormer, stay set as an argonian for this step, otherwise, hit ~ and enter player.setrace highelf, and move over to the hair color slider. (Remember to stay in the greens, blacks, and whites) You'll also want to edit the eye color so that both eyes are blind.

[6] Make sure you are set back to a high elf, and feel free to edit the appearance of you Maormer as you fit. Remember not to touch the skin tone slider, or else you'll need to repeat steps 2-4.

After you've tweaked you character to you liking, you're done! Keep in mind that you may want to change the skin tones around to see what you like best. Here are some examples of my Maormer character that I created:

(Ancient Falmer Armor from the Dawnguard DLC was used as I felt it best mimicked the the Maormer armor from ESO)
Role-Playing you Maormer
For those of you who are interested in role-play, here is a short guide on how to do it properly with your Maormer. Keep in mind that these are just general guidelines for you standard Sea Elf. Every Maormer is different, and one's views may differ drastically from the "norm".

Most Maormer have a strong dislike for the High Elves, whom have refused to allow them to live on the Summerset Isles, and instead force them to the bug infested, humid jungles of Pyandonea. They will have a strong distaste for the Thalmor, seeing as they work for the Dominion. However, they would likely not take much concern in the Civil War in Skyrim, as they have no ties to the Empire or to Skyrim whatsoever.

Maormer have the ability to control the weather, so I suggest you use spells like Whirl Wind Cloak, Lightning, and shouts like Cyclone and Storm Call. The closest thing Skyrim has to serpents is the Serpentine dragons added in the Dragonborn DLC, so feel free to use Bend Will on them.

If you would like to get a spell mod, I suggest the Elemental Destruction Magic Mod, which can be found here on the Steam Workshop. The adds water and air destruction spells that could work quite well for the magic of the Sea Elves.
Conclusion
And there you have it! You shiny, new Maormer character is complete, and you didn't need to use any mods. You can even use this method to create other races, such as Chimer, Falmer, Dwemer, or even a new race entierly. Feel free to share screenshots of your Maormer or any other console command creation, as well as the route you took with role-playing them. I would love to see how they turn out. Thanks for reading my first guide. Any feedback is more then welcome, so long as it is constructive. Have a great day!

Special thanks to the Elder Scrolls Wiki for the information and pictures used in this guide. Be sure to check them out for more elaborate information of the Maormer, their history, and their home.

Keep in mind that some of this character's gear is modded, but here is my most recent Maormer character: Molondi. He is a Sea Viper (Sea Elf Pirate) who I think looks a lot like Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean.

I've never seen something like this. I have never been a fan or mods, nor long dead races (Snow elves) though this Sea elves are still living. It doesn't feel so... Lore breaking. Well done, really. Have fun!
