Better Food (Expiry Times)

Beskrivelse
This mod gives descriptions of how long the food is going to take to rot, so you can know which one to eat first. Still in early stages, will update it later to increase the amount of information you can get about the food.

Features:
- Tells you the amount of time that your food will last.

NOTE: May not be compatible with mods that slow the food rotting process.

Odd. This mod is really old and possibly broke in 1.3. I will have a look later but I have been too busy to update anythiing because of studies. I'll get back to modding probably at the end of this year.

Not working? canned food only showing 30 mins

Yup, I can confirm it, I got my canned food spoiled.

@georgedorn: check "Food Rot Dots" (Link: http://steamproxy.net/steamstore ). I use ir and has somthing alike what you were looking for.

Actually, Canned Food and Chocolate both have expire times. Chocolate will spoil after 15 hours and Canned Food spoils after 30 hours. I know this because I use the 'Improved Food Descriptions' mod. Also, I'm pretty sure that I've seen Canned Food spoil. It just takes a very, very long time.

Is there a way to make food that doesn't expire, like canned food or chocolate, show that instead of constantly showing 5 days?

Is there a way to sort food by how long it will last, or display food in different colors so I don't need to mouseover every bit of food in my inventory looking for the food that will next expire?

1. I use the food stack mod, I don't see hours, minutes, seconds, or whatever from that. Not sure what the other guy was talking about in relation to your mod.

2. What 'day' does this mod base it on? Your 'home' world? (first one landed on) Or, does it change depending on the planet you're on?

3. Is this client only or client/server?
