This video was actually kind of a test with the AI. I wanted to see how the AI behaves on the hardest settings in the exact same race situation. So I did the same race a bunch of times with the game and AI setting on hardest to see how the AI behaves during a race.

It is really nice to see that the AI is different every time you replay the same race. With the first go the 1st car even crashed, the second time I still got at 1st spot very quick again, but the third time I actually had to work for the first place for a couple of laps. Not that the AI was to fast, but overtaking is a an other thing.

Even on hardest (except damage and ABS) settings the AI is just to slow in a lot of corners, but as for straightline speed and shallow cornerst hey do quite good. You can see them driving on the edge and even go over the edge. Even on harderst settings the AI is to easy (like all race games), what makes them hard is their agressive nature when you are overtaking. They litterally try to crash you sometimes, most sure way to avoid it is to overtake on the inside of corners.
