UPDATE 1/10/2017: New additions are coming out, including a Bacta Grenade that does not reset an event character's health, overhealing bacta injectors(they were too outshined by bacta grenades!), and a medscanner to provide health AND armor!


I highly suggest using only this version of the addon, as it is updated frequently to improve various aspects


Other servers are welcome to use this addon :)

These sweps heal to people's darkrp job health. I will continue expanding this pack as time goes on.


The newly added bacta grenade uses a custom model and heals people in its blast radius by up to 50% of their maximum health. It can only be thrown once every thirty seconds to balance it out.



Based on the Medkit SWEP included with GMOD, this Bacta Injector was designed to accomodate custom player health provided by DarkRP jobs, and to provide pulse ammo to other players as a secondary support function.

This is a more powerful version of the Medkit, as it recharges more quickly, provides more health per heal, has more range, and has a higher maximum charge. These are to accomodate hectic combat situations, as well as extreme amounts of health.

The viewmodel present in the icon is now implemented.

I'm not sure if you still update, but I looked into a minor issue. Whenever the max HP of a player is changed, like for an event character, the bacta injector and nade treat the player's max HP as the original, with the nade reducing the HP to the original amount (this is where event characters with 1000 HP would be brought back to 200) and the injector capping at the original max HP.

In the code, it seems the max HP that's used to calculate healing is determined when the player spawns or changes jobs, which could be good for performance, since you wouldn't need to call the ent:GetMaxHealth() method every time you try to heal someone, but it has no way of updating if the max HP does ever change. Setting up events with that in mind could just involve having someone respawn with a desired max HP, so I guess there's a way around the issue even without changing the code.

Setting ent.var to ent:GetMaxHealth() in the functions does fix this.

Can I create my own add-on from your add-on? By that I mean I can take the sounds, models, materials and particles from your add-ons and put it all into an unlisted content pack. Of course without the Lua files @|⁧⁧Riddick
