Made in 20 BBY in the minst of the Clone Wars, the Victory-1 Class Star Destroyer was used as an attack frigate, being able to enter upper levels of planetary atmosphere, something its predecessors could not do. It was also the basis for the later and more popular Imperial-1 Class Star Destroyer. Though the Victory was not as capable as the later Imperial Class, they were still widely used as support vessels for other larger capital ships.
