Yes it is unfortunate. I tried making it loud and it has distortion. The problem is the game never had a clear separation for sound effects and it basically works as you would expect "Master Volume" to work. So guns and things in same category will always be louder than anything categorized as music as we can not lower their relative volume.

In addition the tagging tunes will also be affected by your distance to the event.

I love this mod! My one complaint is that it's kind of quiet, but it's still really great 👍

@Sterben Deathmatch: That is correct, the mod replaces the death music. You can still have conflicting mods working as you desire if you know what is replacing what. It depends on load order.

If you can't get it to end up as you desire you can pick one of the two mods you like and remove the conflicting part you do not desire to experience. To do this, copy the workshop .vpk from the workshop folder and paste it on your addons folder (this will load before main menu). Then use vpk editor and remove the file that conflicts from the package. Then you can either unsub from the workshop you copied or instead leave it as is but unmark it's checkbox from the addons menu.

@MC生存专家洛天依: It should not as it replaces only the audio files for special infected tags and a short tune that plays after a character death.

If there is a conflict with a voice mod it's because that voice mod is doing more than changing character voice lines, like changing the tagged state tunes.

This shouldn 't conflict with the character's voice MOD????
