Did someone say bullet shields!

In other words they would do as well as many of the troops in WWI did. They went off to win glory before the war was over by Chirstmas, and we all know what they found.

Of course it is really easy to get lots of cannon fodder from these type of people. Just have them charge the enemy until their MGs are dry.
