But it should use:
<HandItem xsi:type="MyObjectBuilder_WelderDefinition">
That causes issues with mods that assume your welder's definition is actually a welder definition, not a wrong assumption to make, but it seems like it can be wrong, but you can fix it from your end :P
That'll likely fix the crashing people have been reporting in the comments.
Also your icons can be easily fixed by using premultiplied alpha, if you need help with that you should ask in #modding-art in the keen's discord channel (or on the forum I guess).
