In that guide the second part of the level is wrong and you die. However if you use it to pass the first part then the video to pass the second part you can follow the video again (not exact moves) to complete the level. Just watch where he moves the purple and red cubes.

P.S. For the second part my keyboard keys worked like this:
A = Up | W = Right
S = Left | D = Down

When you step on an arrow it reverts the keys so then they work like this:
D = Up | S = Right
W = Left | A = Down

Don't rush. Take your time. It might take 20-30 mins but if you do it, it's worth it. Good luck!
