@Madeushipurpants Thank you. Unfortunately, the game made this save no longer playable thanks to updates. Im working on a new city on this same map, though

Nice job Toruk_makto1; this city looks good. I am a grid city kind of guy myself. I like to do something different here and there but I've never gotten too far because my game style is slow, and anytime I've gotten close to pop100,000 an update has borked my city. Sorry to hear this one here got borked. It took me two weeks but I managed to get the city I am working on now up and running again after 1.6.0 almost killed it. I am at pop 28,000 now. Enjoy your new city.

@✈Max Kerman✈ You will notice that I did in fact stick to a grid pattern. Roads drawn at a 32 tile by 46 tile box then filled in to use all zone tiles. That said, along the river I tilted the grid to run with the freeway. Bottom left of the image I tilted the grid at about a 25 degree angle, just to do it. Perhaps like the way a larger city might overtake a smaller city that already had it's own street pattern footprint.

Had the city continued to work, I was planning on making 92 tile by 64 tile boxes then sticking off grid cookie cutter style neighborhoods within.

I'm going to try my best!

Ok, thank you for the tipps! I'll try it. My cities always have streets in cessboard form xD:steammocking:

@✈Max Kerman✈ This took months of off and on building. Unfortunately, the last two CS updates have rendered this city perminently unloadable, so I am currently starting over.

Just start and make a town, then expand, then create a freeway system and expand from there man. I will miss this city but the replacement I have in mind will be leaps more sophisticated and awesome looking.

And I want to thank you for your comment. I will miss this city.
