Exit Doom when the bug has accured


Step 1 : Go To C:/Users/You'rePC Folder Name/Saved Games/ID Software/Doom/

Step 2 : Save to desktop Folders named Generated/Temp/ Saved Games
DONT NOT SAVE THE PROFILE FOLDER then delete them in the Doom Archieve by right clicking on the saved game fodler you duplicated and delete

Step 3 : Go Back to C:/Users/You'rePC Folder Name/Saved Games/ID Software/Doom
Save folders to desktop named Base/Saved Games then delete them in the Doom Archieve by right clicking on the saved game fodler you duplicated and delete.
Once again do not save the profile folder!

Step 4 : Verify Game Cache on Steam by Going to Libary "select game Doom" Right click proberties/ Tab 3 Verify game cache!

Step 5 : After complete Load Doom Then click campain And then exit.

Step 6 : Go back to Go To C:/Users/You'rePC Folder Name/Saved Games/ID Software/Doom
Insert the saved game folders into the generated folders that you duplicated.
Step 7: Load Doom click campain and you're save will now be listed and unmarked as DEVELOPERMODE!

Windows 10 Qos Setting Up

Windows + R Type "GPEDIT.MSC"

Then Under Sections ON Computer Configuration + User Configuration
Go To Tab's Window's Settings. You will now see Policy Based Qos

Right click Policy Based Qos- Advanced Qos Setting's. This section is only available on the Computer configuration.
Now you will see two tab's called Inbound TCP Traffic And DSCP Marking Override.
Select the first tab , tick the box called specify the inbound TCP throughput Level and select you're choice , for gaming and internet priority i usally would select Maximum level 3.

Select tab 2 DSCP marking if you're using a virtual LAn to mark packets.

Then ON Both section's Computer Configuration + User Configuration Right click Policy-Based Qos and Create New Policy. Input a Name for example

Policy Name "Doom"

Specify DSCP Value "untick if not on a virtual Lan"

Specify Outbound Throttle Rate

Type whatever you would like Try to keep this high for example

cat4 enthernet cable "100 mbps"

Cat5e/cat6 cable "1000 mbps"

Wire-less "maximum speed of you're adapter" B/g Would be 54mbps, N would be 150 to 300mbps, AC/A would be 300 to 800mbps"
Next Step Setup An application Or the whole Qos to use all applications.

All applications select that and that is that step done , or input an Application for example
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DOOM\Doomx64.exe

Windows Firewall Configuring :-

Go To "Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Firewall"

Click Advanced on the left Pane/Panel

Click on Inbound Rule's Find what ever game or program you like, Double click on it for example

I would Recommend Using Nvidia Inspector

On this program you can manualy edit and apply tweak's to you're nvidia GPU Or game's

Fast Sync is also a new feature by nvidia on the 1080/1070 GTX serie's but you can also enable it for older gen card's.

Nvidia came up with this new technique for tacklying screen-tearing probem which is reserved to Pascal GPUs unless you unlock it in nvidia inspector for other gen cards like 660gtx/770gtx/980gtx etc etc, this is how it works :

the GPU will have three buffer regions:

front buffer - that will be sent to the display
back buffer - where the game engine will render the scene
last rendered buffer - where the GPU will move the last completely rendered back buffer
the game will continuously render in the back buffer and the last buffer will receive the last rendered scene while the front buffer is displayed on screen

as soon as the image is displayed, the last buffer will switch places with the front buffer - thus, there will be no tearing; with normal VSync OFF, the back buffer would become the front buffer, but if the scene is not completely rendered scanned it will exhibit tear on the display

the game's engine will run in the same conditions as it would with VSync OFF - it would render scenes as fast as the system can

but the main difference is that this will add some latency but almost none unlike the choppy old "Vsync standard" - the front buffer will only contain a completely rendered scene, where in the case of VSync OFF it will be displayed no matter the completion status.

To enable it in Nvidia inspector for other cards, open as admin nvidiainspector profile editor,

Go to Tab called VerticalSync ie VSYNC select "0x18888888" This is the DWORD for Fast Sync Hit apply and enjoy!
