I can pull this off too because I watched this video! Thx! Also, this only works with Tails. I think it'll rarely work with Sonic.

XD I remember using this on my mom ages ago. XD It was funny. Same with the Sonic 2 win gamble trick; the double loop-de-loop in (act 2 I think?) Emerald Hill, jump at the end of the ramp and land on the top of the downward spikes. Tap left. You'll either beat the level, or you'll die trying. Works in 2P race.
