Very easy having played Gig’s take on this, but it’s not a bad puzzle for beginners. Some level of spatial reasoning is required. I was gonna say how I thought the lights were a little erratic and the geometry awkward, but I think it’s more so the portal/non-portal surface placements in some areas that made the aesthetics feel just a little “messy” to me, since when I was writing this I did take another peek at the chamber to see what exactly felt a little off about it to me. Nevertheless, I do appreciate the BEE2 work, and the overall layout of the chamber is unique.

Long story short, I found your website, clockworkbrain.net , just recently. I'd like to play your Portal 1 maps, Manic Mechanic and Try Anything Twice, however, the downloads on your website are broken. I would love it if you would provide a working link to those maps. Portal 1 has its own charm and it's a shame I missed the community creations from back in its heyday.
