Hearts of Iron 4 Beginner Guide
By Praetorian
This tutorial series will cover everything you need to know to start playing Hearts of Iron 4. It is a beginner's guide and is meant for players who are new to HOI4.

I've begun an updated Beginner Guide series in order to cover all the many changes since launch. I've already made an updated Air War guide, and thus I've replaced the old video with it. I'll be continuing adding updated guides over the next several months.

@Imagination
You could just right click on your own country to see that :)

One use for the diplomacy list of countries is to click on your own country to find out who is at war with you. (If there is another way to do so, I am unaware of it.)

I've played HOI with a few friends on and off and always felt a bit behind...now I realize all the basics that they just assumed I knew. Sad to say I had no idea there were subcatagories to research...

Awesome guide, thanks for making them all!

After you defeat them and get the peace treaty, there will be an option to puppet or satalite the country. You can then request to use their divisions.
