Hamtasy civ for Civ4 actually has 3 leaders to choose from: Han Seungyeon, Queen Seungyeon, and Waifu Seungyeon. It was a blast creating new traits for them and selecting their songs. most of these were KARA songs since Hammie doesn't have enough solo songs. Coincidentally, the number of eras in Civ 4 matches the number of years of KARA from debut The First Blooming, to the last KARA5 album Full Bloom. So I simply chose my favorite KARA songs for each of the years between those two albums, including all of Hammie's official solos. For a total of 21 different songs = 7 per leader. So when you advance to the next era, each leader's theme song changes, too.

That's a huge difference from Civ5. They only allow one leader per civ and 2 songs per leader. This is just another symptom among many of Civ5 poor, restrictive design philosophy. To the point that I just can't get myself to make new mods and playtest any more because this game IMO is dreadful, boring, and unrewarding in all aspects.

i only came back to this game just to make a Hamtasy civ (already made one for Civ 4), and I did just that. but otherwise, i can't stand this game.

i don't have any other kpop obsessions like Seungyeon. Maybe Hyori. But if it's anybody, it would be for my chinese pop obsessions, including Kay Tse, Vivian Chow, and Selina from S.H.E.

i'm done with V. i'm going to wait for VI before I make any more Civ mods.

You should make a mod pack with kpop great musicians! :D

@Shena'Fu I don't believe I have any sort of mod that prevents looping. The game does have, by default, multiple music files for each category of civilizations, and it goes in order by priority. I'll see why my game doesn't loop songs.

the music loops forever for me. maybe you have a mod that prevents looping. i don't think the game supports playlist of music. actually, music is tied to the leader. so if I make more leaders, I could assign different tracks to each leader.

This mod is pretty fun. One thing I noticed is that Superstar and Guilty only play once during peace and war respectively and then there is not any music playing afterwards. Perhaps more music could be added at some point?
