We need mods like these. Only a few of the vanilla emblems make the tiniest sense for . I get that a wheel can be motorised and a shield or castle can be garrisons, but the rest of them... smh.

A surprisingly huge help in organizing. Organizing hundreds of units is something that you do do in Hearts of Iron. I use the yellow rook piece for border or static defenders. Tanks and Cavalry (horse or motor/mech) easily separated by Tank vs Knight. My marines get I think its the queen or bishop with slight shades of blue differences. So much faster to create visual categories. This in turn is easy to move the types between theater assignments.
