IMPORTANT TO KNOW

What is "limited use"
These voice lines will work only on local servers and dedicated servers where this add-on is installed, and in single player. They CANNOT WORK on official Valve servers!

Miscellaneous menus
Some voice lines in these menus work only for L4D1 and some only for L4D2 characters.

Some voice lines can't always work
For some lines to work, certain conditions have to be met (for example, you must not be in fight). Also, many voice lines are not available in Scavenge and Survival.

When can't go idle
You can't go idle if you are the only player, or if all other players are already idle.

Note on switching characters
After switching characters, you will need to select your new character again to properly mount all of its character-specific menus.

Vocalizer in Versus and Scavenge on official servers
All add-ons are disabled when playing competitive modes on official Valve servers. However, you can follow my guide to make the vocalizer work there.

DEDICATED SERVER INSTALLATION
(for server admins only)

Install the add-on on your server, so players can use all radial menus and all responses:
  1. Download my vocalizer from GameMaps[www.gamemaps.com]
  2. Put the VPK file in \left4dead2\addons
  3. Restart your server

@skysk: There is a way to change vocalization lines by editing add-on's files, but "Help" is already present in Enemies radial menu.

@Dr Nick: Not a bug. It's a response defined in game's talker and can normally happen when survivors introduce themselves in Dead Center elevator.

There is a bug in Nick's "Name" vocals. Most of the time he will say his name as expected but sometimes some random line like "nice work out there" will play instead.

@ion I did have "Modified Talker" enabled, but that one was always fine before... I'll turn it off, though, and see if that fixes the issue.

Hey, is there a way to change the "Scream" into "Help"?
ion  [author] 29 Jul @ 4:15pm
@Tyler: In official talker before The Last Stand update command for "Swear" was what is now for "I'm here" line. So you might have some outdated modified talker installed.
Tyler 29 Jul @ 10:28am
For some reason, when I use the "I'm here" voice command, the characters exclaim swears instead. :C

@Z.u.k.u.: If you are going to host games, first you need to allow add-ons in Versus/Scavenge by editing addonconfig.cfg in /left4dead2/cfg folder (search for a guide for this if you don't know how). Then start a locally hosted Versus or Scavenge game and use Orders menu (Z button by default) when you play as Special Infected.

How can i enable the infected voice lines? i've installed manually on gamemaps but still i cannot get it to work.
ion  [author] 27 Jul @ 4:31pm
@Qwertyjo: It might be that you played on a dedicated server which has Vocalize Fatigue plugin installed.
