How to play in windowed mode

Guide for playing H1Z1 in windowed mode:

Pros:

Use Alt+Tab to switch to another window like your browser without any problems (no laggs, no loading)
Sound will not be turned of if you switch out of the game.

Cons:

Memory management of H1Z1 is very week. If windows consumes more than 1 GB of pagefile (Windows Process Name is something like "Systemmemory and compressed Memory", Process File "ntoskrnl") you should restart the game. If not, the game, and sometimes the PC (not very often) will crash.

Enabling Windowed Mode:

Open folder: <Steam Folder>\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\H1Z1 King of the Kill\
Open file in a text editor: UserOptions.ini
Under "[Display]", navigate to "Mode=" (location is under "WindowedHeight=")
Change to: "Mode=Windowed"
Save file, start the game

You can maximize the window in the common way like you do with every window in Windows.

If you dont want to wast so much time, just press "ALT+RETURN" to switch between Fullscreen and Windows Mode ;-)
