You should unlock the special costume 2 before you start a new game on professional. Ashley will get immortality with it and she can't be carried away. Use her to lure the enemies to her, they will try to kidnap her but she will be to heavy and they will just fall to the ground. Take the knife and kill them while they are down to save ammo.

You should buy the treasure maps as soon as you can to get all of the treasures, You should also upgrade the inventory as soon as you can. If you get all the treasures you wont have any problem with the economy.

Do not upgrade the "Handgun", when you get all of the blue medallions then get the "Punisher" for free from the shop and sell the "Handgun". Don't upgrade the "Punisher" either, wait till you get the "Red9".

The weapons I used when I completed the game was "Red9", "Broken Butterfly", "Rifle (semi-auto)", "Shotgun" and the "RPG".

Red9: Buy it as soon it gets to the store, it's pretty powerful and got a lot of ammo.
Shotgun: You will get this gun for free, this is the weapon you should upgrade first to make the game slightly easier.
Broken Butterfly: You will get this one for free in the Castle, the "special trait" with this gun is really powerful.
Rifle (semi-auto): A really quick sniper with a lot of DMG.
RPG: You can one-hit everything! After I got this weapon for free I always kept one of them in my inventory. I use them to kill the bosses, yes. The bosses is getting one-hitted too! Very easy and very useful if you don't want to waste time or ammo on them.

• The easiest way to complete the shooting range stages is with the TMP.
  
• If you climb up on a ladder and the enemies will come after you, just stand at the top of the ladder with the knife and knife them when they are getting close. They will fall down and take a lot of dmg and you won't waste any ammo.
  
• Combine treasures to get more money.
  
• Use the yellow herbs combined with a green to increase your total HP.
  
• When you upgrade your ammo capacity on a weapon you will automatically get full ammo in the clip. So don't reload before you upgrade!
  
• Shoot them until they are stunned and then kick them down, use the knife and stab them while they are down to save ammo.
  
• Shoot the plagas with the dynamite in the hand to make them explode.
  
• Kill as many crows and fishes you can. Crows gives money and fishes gives food/health.
  
• You can kill crows with flashbang.
  
• You can also shoot the bird nests to get items.
  
• Complete Separate Ways to unlock special costume 2 and make Ashley immortal.

I hate this mother****** place. How I did was I barricaded two windows with the cabinets and let one open to kill as many plagas as I could. After awhile I barricade the last window before the others got destroyed. I camped in the stairs and kill as many plagas as I could until the ladders came. I went upstairs and put EVERY ladder down while I was trying to kill the plagas that came from the stairs. The faster you kill them the faster the event will be over. You have to kill a certain number of them before the cinematic pops up. I think I made it on my 6th try..

Mendez can be killed easily with incendiary grenade and grenade, so stack up on them.

You can just run past the dogs with an equipped grenade and just get the 2 tablets, as long as you´re not face to face with the wolfs they can't jump on you. After you opened the doors that trigger the cutscene with ada dont go back yet to pick up items in the maze. The wolfs will still be there and lurking. You can go back once you have saved ashley and the wolfs wont be there.

I would suggest not upgrading the shogtun from the beginning, riot shotgun is better and the shotgun is mostly used to clear crowd of enemies around you. Especially in the start and castle. I always upgrade all red9 and sniper upgrade first remaining $ goes torward the shotgun and the single action bolt rifle is really nice if you dont mind the slower rate of fire. Once fully upgraded the reload speed it's pretty fast.
