FIXING IT
I just started up this game. It was crashing at start-up, but I was able to fix it by using some easy steps.

I'm using Windows 7, but I presume it works for others.

STEP 1. Right click the sound icon on the taskbar.

STEP 2. Click Playback devices.

STEP 3. Right click the speaker in use (you'll see the green bars moving up or down)

STEP 4. Click Properties, and then click Advanced.

STEP 5. Set quality to 24 bit, 48000 Hz (Studio Quality)

STEP 6. Apply. (Ok)

Test if it works. It did for me.

When you're done playing the game, just change it back to whatever you were using before.

The game's audio will not play unless it's set to 24 bit, 48000 Hz.

I use headphones since I am using a desktop pc and changing speaker settings isn't an option for me. Will the game start up just fine on headphones?

Windows 10 64 bit, Game doesn't crash at launch just crashes sometime during play, no specific trigger to timing, my audio plays fine, by default it's set to 16 bit 48,000Hz, don't have the option to set to 24 bit, 48,000Hz, only 16 bit 44,100Hz and 16 bit 32,000Hz. my speakers are just the speakers that come with a pretty modern Sharp TV (Sharp is a budget brand but not that budget so idk what's going on here)
