so John to ur question, the zoom is done with mousebutton 4 or 5 like as a soldier, but I bound this button to my joystick. For flying I use a complete HOTAS with Joystick, Throttle and Rudder Pedals each piece from CH products from america. Pretty decent Hardware for starters and more than enough for arma, and I use it only for arma so :) TrackIR ofc also helps...
