Quake III Master Server Fix

Quake III Arena v1.32
----------------------------
Add master server IP to hosts file
Start -> Computer -> C: -> Windows -> System32 -> drivers -> etc
Open the hosts file with your favorite file editor and add the following lines:
------------------------------------------
#Maverickservers.com
#85.17.208.104 master.quake3arena.com
#ioquake3
#192.241.238.177 master.quake3arena.com
#Excessive Plus
#148.251.48.139 master.quake3arena.com
------------------------------------------
Сhoose https://www.quakeservers.net/quake3/master_servers/
You have three options for the master server, choose which you like and delete the icon # before the IP address and save the file.
Warning!
Simultaneously it is impossible to Use all master servers, only one option!

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc file hosts , Open it with the help of Notepad++ - Make the necessary changes there and save. See the example screen above !

Perhaps you lack the right to change this file, then you should go to the properties files and select the permissions to write the file!

ok, i am just stupid i didnt delete # before IP. It helped me ;DDDD thanks. I was searching for 2 days for the answer to repair my game. love you my russian friend. <33333

It says I am not allowed to save files in this location. What should I do?
