The Scout's Invasion Cadet Visor fix

I think I have this pretty much as close as I possibly can to the Wiki/Game version of the Visor. Both Red and Blue are paintable via Material Overrides.

I tried to fix the AO Problem of the ear pieces by adding $ambientocclusion 1 to the VMTs however the model still spawns with the problem.

The fix for that is to add a BOOLEAN Attribute named $ambientocclusion to the invasion_cadet_visor_1 (to fix Red) and the invasion_ cadet_visor_1_blue (to fix Blue) while doing the material override. Leave the Checkbox UNCHECKED (which means 0 or Off)

These materials Need To Replace the ones extracted from the Game Cache VPK files. So If you extracted the VPKs into your usermod folders, you'll have to replace the originals with these. If you created a new mod folder for the game VPK extracts, then the workshop folder must be a higher priority than the extract Mod folder or replace the original materials/textures with these.

nevermind, restarting sfm did the trick

the visor doesnt seem to change colour, it remains white despite me changing the colour in the override materials.
is there some way to fix this?

make sure you don't zero bones that are not locked. If you do, select the unlocked bones and apply the default slider.

little help here. the visor disappears when i lock it to a model

Add an override material to the visor, send it to the element viewer. Then follow the steps above.
