Introduction
Struggling with Divinity: Original Sin?

Want a solution that isn't so much thinking outside the box, but rather bashing your enemies over the head with it?

Then fear not, with this guide you can destroy most enemies with ease thoughout the whole game and later become immune to such things as elemental damage.
The Ultimate weapon
  • It uses 2ap per "attack"
  • It can one hit most early game enemies
  • It can be used before you even reach Cyseal
  • It doesn't break
  • It can become a mobile crafting station
  • It's technically not a box
  • It works on most bosses
  • IT IS NOT INFALLIBLE

It is of course your humble backpack (or if you choose so later, a chest with 100% resistances)

As you can see a devastating blow against the poor guards that thought they could escape its wrath.

By filling the backpack with whatever you find (boxes, more boxes, barrels of poison, water and oil)
we get to use its immense weight and against our enemies via the power of telekinesis.

That said as stated it is not a 100% foolproof weapon and certain enemies will ignore its mighty crushing powers, as for which I shall leave you to find most of them out, though I will say that the tutorial dungeon boss (and his underlings) are such enemies.

Advanced boxing
Multi-kill

Now simply hitting one enemy is fine enough, as they probably will die which is more than can be said for using those ap of yours doing anything else ( at least early on). But if they've gotten a bit close to each other, why not take advantage of it?

For smaller enemies, this is generally easier leading to a Venn diagram of pain as so...
With style
As you may notice over time, its not always easy to find your trusty bag, to which I suggest replacing it with an ornate chest or any with the 54k hp as they cant be destroyed.

You may also find it easier to hit multiple enemies whilst doing so.

Fun fact: Skeletons have a weakness to crushing damage and physical immunity is a buff that adds 100% resistance leading to our immune Lady to only get 75% crushing resistance
Character setup
Now of course though you could pick this up half way through a game, we shall take it from the beginning and make a character ideal for such greatness.

Now lets have a look at the initial setup for mighty Cratos.

Abilities
Man-at-arms - 1
Not so much to say about this yet but it does help provide the mobility we will want in our one-sided crusade

Scoundrel - 1
Maybe not so much essential but for the finest of cheeses we wouldn't want to skip this.

Telekinesis - 2
Now all the rest of our points go into the greatest skill of all as it will allow for longer range usage of our crushing power.

Investing later on
As you may have guessed or read a little bit lower, we shall be picking up the Lone Wolf talent, which will provide a good deal more points to use during the game, that said only one more point in Scoundrel will be wanted and telekinesis can easily be bolstered via items.

For other skills, investing more in man-at-arms is nice for a few more skills and for opening up some more talents.

Defensive skills are more of a priority as without a pressing need for skill based offense we can safely mimimize any potential problems instead, this includes investing in shields as the game goes on.

Crafting skills can be safely invested in though be sure to try and pick up more items to boost them further, being pragmatic in conversation will also help max them out with minimal investment.

Attributes
Keeping everything else at 5 for now we get
Strength - 8
The source of our power lies here, but we wont really need to invest too heavily in it as the game goes along

Dexterity - 7
Vital to the successful use of scoundrel skills but otherwise not really required beyond that

Investing later on
Whilst a few more points of strength are highly useful there is no real need to go overboard, however Speed and Constitution will both be very valuable in keeping you at maximum killing power for the bonus ap per turn and the maximum available.

Talents
Lone Wolf
A one-man army through and through, this perk is ideal for getting the most out of our champion

Pack Mule
Whereas some would think this to be pure utility that is wasted when storing items for later use is easy to do, its true power is tied to empowering the ultimate weapon.

Investing later on
Once again with offense being covered we look into the defensive options available.

Picture of Health, Thick Skin and Swidewinder whilst not really necessary will all boost your survivability.

On a more offensive note, Swift Footed is very useful too.

If you feel like throwing grenades then Scientist, Slingshot and Pinpoint are all useful and given that some enemies refuse to be crushed this can indeed come into use.
Those other people in your party
Well there is at least one more character going with you so I guess we should give a quick rundown of what they could be used for.

Buffs
More haste = more throwing. Also covering healing and removing fire and so forth.

Summons
It never hurts to provide the enemy with a distraction

Teleport
Nice to have to move enemies closer for greater chance of also being crushed by the box, and allows for easier bypassing of certain obstacles.

Powerful opening attack
When you get master skills then a mage OR a marksman will probably be stealing the show from now on especially if used when the enemy isnt in combat yet
Many cheeses ahead
Apart from just bludgeoning enemies with an incredibly heavy bag we can also seek to use skills to bolster our killing potential. The greatest of which would be...

Invisibility - The Poltergeist Strat
Not only a means to get past overtly powerful enemies for your level, as a way of escaping a bad situation or for grabbing all the loot that people would otherwise shout at you for taking.

This tool allows for destroying enemies without retaliation as object interactions will not break its effect, allowing for safe beatings without fear of retaliation.
That said, this again is not a 100% foolproof combination as anything that would enter conversation with you for hurting them will talk to you which DOES break invisibility, however if the bag is heavy enough to kill them in one shot then there's no problem.
But also keep in mind that taking any damage including from status effects will also break this so keep that in mind when taking on a group of stronger foes who can burn or poison you.

Fast Track and Winged Feet
Both of these should be a no-brainer, one for more ap and movespeed and the other for just plain ignoring anything on the ground that could hurt you

Stances - the many ways of getting more for nothing
Aside from the man-at-arms investment anyway, from Power Stance to improve your speed, Melee Defensive Stance to take even more of a beating if for some reason you're not invisible to the most powerful Elemental Tortoise which boosts your resistances by 40% at the expense of 40% of your speed (which can be mitigated via battering ram), the real power of this lies in the fact that being a temporary effect (whose duration you have complete control over) it boosts your resistances over their usual caps allowing you to wade through lava for health if you so desire assuming your fire resistance was over 80% in the first place.

This must be a joke. When telekinesis used on an object to target enemy, it says there is no room, so impossible to use object as weapon.

It's costing me 2 AP to pick up, as well as 2 AP to drop the my 54.4k hp, 396 lb ornate chest. Is 7 dexterity a must? My Madora is trying out some boxing, 14 str, max carryable weight of 570 lbs. Does this mean that this method has been nerfed, or am I doing something wrong?

@Sethlon Brilliant! Definately better in action and can't fault the choice of music for it.

Should hopefully help those that have had trouble getting it to work too, great work.
