In Stardew Valley as well as having a craftable Scarecrow there are 8 unique Rare-Crows acquired in numerous ways all boasting a different skin.

The first Rarecrow known as Turnip Head, a cameo from a popular Ghibli Movie "Howls Moving Castle" can be purchased from the Stardew Valley Fair which takes place every year on the 16th of Fall. It is purchased using 800 Star Tokens, these can be acquired through participating in the Grange display or the carnival games.

This Rarecrow can be purchased on the 27th of Fall at the Spirits Eve festival for 5,000g and depicts a with as shown on the right.

This Rarecrow can be purchased from the Casino in Calico Desert from 10,000 Qi Coins and depicts an alien. Access to the casino is only granted after a series of mysterious missions from Qi.

The snowman Rarecrow can be purchased from the Travelling Merchant for 4,000g in either fall or winter. The Travelling merchant is found next to the wizard tower and lake south of your farm on Fridays and Sundays.

This Rarecrow depicts a Lady Farmer and is purchased for 2,500g at the Flower Dance held every year south of your farm on the 24th of Spring.

The Dwarf Rarecrow is the 6th and can be purchased from surprise! the dwarf for 2,500g, he is located in the Eastern caves of the mines but can only be communicated with once the player has donated all 4 Dwarvish scrolls to the Musuem.

This Rarecrow depicting a raccoon is given to the player by Gunther once 20 Artifacts have been donated to the musuem. Note: Only Artifacts go towards this tally and not overall items donated.

The final Rarecrow is also given to the player by Gunther at 40 total items donated to the museum, it depicts a Tiki Head as seen on the right.
