How to create a character sheet in TTS
By Art of WASD
This is a guide to use live charicter sheets in TTS. This tutorial uses 3.5 however im shure it applies to other editions as well. NOTE: This is not a guide to create a physical charicter sheet in game as TTS does not have that option even with scripts

Overview
This Tutorial is used to create D&D 3.5 character sheets. It utilizes the in game TABLET tool as well as your own google docs account (NOTE: TTS does not allow direct acess to google docs or drive at the moment. This guide does work as a work around)
Step 1: The google doc
-This part is not done in game (literally the only part that requires "work"),
-What you have to do it go to this link to a 3.5 character Sheet TEMPLATE https://drive.google.com/previewtemplate?id=0AiW4DB5E31LgdFNrN0ZldjBjVmcyYWJqcjlQREtXWnc&mode=public&ddrp=1#
-EDIT: Props to Almega for the 5e link. https://drive.google.com/previewtemplate?id=1qw3DMBK4OgF0jai8GDRtKKXZ8oZmzwwO8phXRD5nC1k&mode=public
-Once you are on that click "Use this template" to be brought to a editable copy of the sheet (you may be prompted to log into your G docs if you have not done so in the past)

-Now you can edit this sheet as you pleese, however you dont want to have to Alt+Tab every time you want to use it so lets get to how to port it into TTS.
-In the document go to the top left and click the BLUE "Share" button.
-Dont bother with this screen, instead click "Advanced" in the bottom right.

-Here you can see a link listed, Copy that to clipboard now (Ctrl+c)
-Next you need to set it so you can use the link in TTS, this is done by clicking the BLUE TEXT "Change..." to the right of what should display "Private - Only you can access".

-The bottom of the three bubbles should be selected, click the middle one. This makes it so that anyone with the link you copied can edit the sheet (In this case you on a tablet in TTS)
-Now click the BLUE "Save" button.
-The "Hard" part it over now to use the sheet in TTS
Step 2: Use in TTS
-This is the easy part, Ask the DM/GM (whoever is runnign the server) to spawn you in a Tablet (under tools section of Chest)
-Once you have your tablet Grow/Shrink it to your desired size (click the tablet edge and press +/- on the top row of numbers. NOT the Num Pad)
-OPTIONAL: On the tablet click the two squares box next to the forward/back arrows (This shows a close view of the tablet screen with out haveing to move the tablet around)
-Next Simply paste the link into the bar and your sheet should appear and be editable in game.
-DONE! Your done now, enjoy your game. Keep in mind that this way other players includeing the DM can see your sheet in game.
-SIDE NOTE: If the link to the template i put in is used then at the bottom of the tablet screen you can click Page one or two, switching in between the character sheet and inventory page
Step 3: TEACH OTHERS!
-Help out the DM/GMs everywhere
All Done
I hope that my steps were easy to fallow and the guide in general helped out
Please comment if you had any trobles.

You can actually make a physical character sheet in game, with scripts. I know because I've done it.

I have a pretty robust in-game character sheet mod still in active development. Check it out and see if it works for you! https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2534028997

Just a thought - but has anyone tried printing their char sheets to PNG, uploading to dropbox/drive and then using in the game via Custom Object > Tile?

Thank you Almega, I will update the guide to include the 5e Link as well as add the Can edit if comments appear with this problem. Once again your feedback is much appreciated.

Thank you so much for making this guide, it was needed.

Here's a link to a character sheet that should work for 5e:

Also, in case anyone misses it on the link sharing page be sure to change the access to can edit.
