If you are interested in a particular achievement, then press Ctrl+F and use popped up window for fast search.
1. May the Force be with you

May the Force be with you

To get it you need simply choose "New Story" on game's main screen and enter the Tower after the King will be kidnapped.

2. This is Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again

This is Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again

Die for the first time.

3. Steel Defender

Steel Defender

You need to finish the game for Warrior.

The best choice if you are a newcomer - high starting parameters, enough "life" and "mana" and weapon artifact by default.

Pay attention to all what increases the damage (artifacts, potions, anvils), do not hurry.

4. Mage Defender

Mage Defender

You need to finish the game for Wizard.

Class offers quite low starting damage - so it's the main problem you need to solve through getting "Gamepad" or "Lager" or "Medallion" artifacts or/and anything what increases damage: potions or use special anvils you can sometimes find in one of the "rooms".

Pay attention to "Orb" - Wizard's special attack - try to get one which brings damage in all directions regardless the fact how many mana it requires.

Always pick up mana pieces - each adds +1 to the current maximum amount.

5. Precision Defender

Precision Defender

Complete walkthrough for Archer to unlock this one.

Archer has very low starting damage - so main focus here on everything what can increase it: artifacts boosting stats, potions, anvils.

Also special attack available - arrows with additional damaging effect (toxic, fire, ice).
More or less, it's like playing for mage, but with more fuss and jumps.

6. Secretive Defender

Secretive Defender

Finish game for Rogue.

I suppose the 2nd most powerfull class after the Warrior despite low starting health and almost zero mana - high speed and great chances for critical hit compensate it completely. More than that, he has special ability to become invincible for a limited amount of time and artifact "Lockpick" from the start.

The main difficulty here - get used to speed.

Victory formula - pick up "Heart amulet" or/and "Magic mushroom" artifacts for higher amount of maximum health.

7. Holy Defender

Holy Defender

For beating the game as a Paladin.

The main flaw of this class - low starting damage and, especially, speed. You need to find a way to increase speed otherwise your chances against the 2nd boss close to fail.

As mentioned above, some artifacts can increase all parameters, for speed you need "Hermes boots" or potions.

By default Paladin has almost as much mana as Wizard - do not ignored that, try to get some Weapon artifact.

8. Rage!

Rage!

Complete walkthrough for Berserk.

The most difficult one: Berserk lacks of starting health and mana, has zero speed and low damage.
Main problem here is speed (not the whole class as you might think).

Way to victory - drink every potion you find for speed increase regardless the fact that you don't know its effect without "Alchemicon" artifact: Berserk is freak by default, nothing dangerous if you make him even weaker.
Another way to increase speed is getting the following artifacts: "Hermes boots", "Lager" or/and "Medallion" for all stats.
"Bottle of Death" or/and "Mjonir" will be usefull as well - they increase damage.

By all means speed is crucial here - if it less than 2, you won't be able to defeat the second boss.

P.S. If you haven't managed to increase speed, do not feel desperate - there's an almost legal way to cheat and avoid fight with Stone Guard: just purchase (or find) rune "Boss fight" and activate it on level 2-2 - instead of Stone Guard there will be Cyclo. *

* Edit: seems to be that such way doesn't work anymore starting from version 0.99 and including final release.

9. Dark Defender

Dark Defender

Be victorious playing as a Necromancer.

Tricky thing here - begining can be more difficult than later stages. All that because Necromancer has only 5 "hearts", so, every enemy is deadly dangerous for him due to that.
Yet, there're few very positive outcomes:
  • each "heart" you pick up adds +2 to a maximum life amount and heals on +5 points;
  • high starting speed, damage and chances for critical hit.

The further you get, the easier it will be. No need to risk with potions, best strategy is to obtain "The blood tooth" or "Heart amulet" or "Magic Mushroom".

10. Rank A

Rank A

There're 5 parameters which estimate your run through level:
  • Pathfinder - you explored the whole level (visited each room on a map);
  • Perfectionist - you found all hidden places and opened overwhelming majority of chests;
  • Killer - you killed all common enemies on level;
  • Untouchable - you hasn't been hit by the enemy even once;
  • Double-Quick - you completed fully-explored level fast enough *.
Getting any 4 of them guarantees you an "A" rank.

* Based on rough calculations I've made, I suppose it's about 15-20 seconds per room on a level. Therefore, if level has 14 rooms, you need to finish it in 210-280 seconds.

11. Rank B

Rank B

Getting any 3 parameters (Pathfinder, Perfectionist, Killer, Untouchable, Double-Quick) gives you "B" rank.

12. Rank C

Rank C

To get Rank C you need to do the following:
  • launch the game in window mode and turn off the music;
  • start the game with any class;
  • locate the exit from the 1st level;
  • get yourself hit until 1-3 "hearts" left and go to the "exit-room";
  • minimize the game's window and leave it for 15-20 minutes;
  • finish the level after time has passed.

13. Rank S

Rank S

Getting all 5 parameters (Pathfinder, Perfectionist, Killer, Untouchable, Double-Quick) rewards you with "S" rank.

14. Burst in!

Burst in!

Just explode golden-lock-door with a bomb.

15. Secret!

Secret!

You need to explode the wall which has some bricks covered with cracks - that's the hidden place, usually you can find there:
  • blue-gold chest with common stuff (health, mana, gold, bomb);
  • pedestal with equipment or artifact;
  • front-faced door (locked or not).

16. My name is Begemoth

My name is Begemoth

For making 4 deals with Begemoth in single run.

Begemoth is a cat, according to "Master & Margaret" one of satan's minions. So, he's your black market dealer - artifacts in exchange for your health.

Complications here are the following:
  1. by default it's not guaranteed that you will meet him enough amount of times - his room appears randomly and there's no way to find out in advance how many times it will be;
  2. each artifact will cost you -10 points from maximum health amount, i.e. you need 40 "hearts" for 4 artifacts.
Acceptable solution is:
  • if you didn't get this achievement occasionaly - put up with it and be ready to devote at least one walkthorugh to this achievement only (probably, it will be more than one);

  • play for Warrior - he has exactly 40 "hearts" from the start, always explore the whole level;

  • in a shop purchase only the following artifacts:
    - "Pact" (guarantees meeting with Begemoth on every level),
    - "Heart amulet" or "Magic mushroom" (each one increase maximum health amount on 10 points),
    - "Pact 2.0" (reduces artifact's cost from 10 to 6 "hearts");

  • if there were no such artifacts in shops you visited, but Begemoth has some, then you should choose them among others in the following order (from the most important to less): "Pact", "Heart amulet" or "Magic mushroom", "Pact 2.0";

  • if there were no such artifacts offered in Begemoth's "outlet", then choose what Begemoth currently offers - remember you need 4 deals;

  • you always have a chance to get these artifacts for fight with bosses, always purchase "Boss fight" rune and activate it - more fights with Cyclo mean more chances to get "Pact".

17. Reference.exe

Reference.exe

You need to get artifact "Crying Baby" by finding it, defeating the boss, buying in a shop or black market.

18. Reference_2.exe

Reference_2.exe

Pick up "Candlevania" artifact by finding it, defeating the boss, buying in a shop or black market.

19. Collector

Collector

No that hard as it seems, but only if random in your favour. Besides odds there's a math:
  • 3 artifacts you get after defeating the bosses;
  • at least 2 artifacts you can buy if not spend money on anything else;
  • roughly at least 1 artifact you can find every two levels - that makes at least +3 more.
So, everything above makes it 8, that means you need 7 more and the tips below may be helpful:
  1. use Warrior class - it has the best starting stats and your run will be easier;
  2. on every level explore it first, only after that use keys and bombs for the most promising places (especially if it's front-faced door);
  3. always check shop on every level for "Boss fight" rune - it allows you to get an artifact after defeating Cyclo boss, don't use it before the whole level is explored; therefore, 7 levels (without final one) with a shop on each one, i.e. 7 opportunities to get that rune in single walkthrough;
  4. on first 2 levels do not buy other artifacts unless it's "Sale" or "Pact" or "Pact 2.0";
  5. on last level spend all money on artifacts;
  6. always deal with Begemoth, especially if you meet him on last level; spend all health, even if you have last 10 points - use it;
  7. always pick up Magic Item or Magic Weapon even if you currenlty have more powerful one - remember, you here for an achievement, not for odds for final fight.

Check my walkthrough for Rogue once more for better understanding.

20. Friends!

Friends!

You need to obtain artifacts "Bob", "Crying Baby" and "Totemus" in single walkthrough. It's difficult because of the game's random nature. Hints pretty much the same as for Collector achievement:
  1. use Warrior class - it has the best starting stats and your run will be easier;
  2. always check shop on every level for "Boss fight" rune - it allows you to get an artifact after defeating Cyclo boss, don't use it before the whole level is explored;
  3. do not buy other artifacts unless it's "Sale" or "Pact" (if you got "Pact", then it might be reasonable to buy "Pact 2.0" depending on situation you have; of course there's no meaning to get these artifacts on the last level);
  4. spent money on keys and bombs, explode every wall, door with golden lock and blue pots, open all doors;
  5. your chances are higher if you obtain one of these artifacts on starting levels, but at the same time it guarantees nothing.

Check my walkthrough for Paladin once more - it wiil give you the general empression of what to do and prove that random is everything here: before level 2-1 I had none of them and already all on level 3-1.

21. Emerald

Emerald

Collecting 23 different artifacts (in all runs you've made) unlocks the achievement.

In current condition game offers 46 different artifacts. You can check them in in-game Depository: "black square" means artifacts hasn't been uncovered yet, artifacts' image tells that you already picked up it at least once.

Check my other guide for complete list of artifacts.

22. Diamond

Diamond

Collecting all 46 available artifacts (in all runs you had) unlocks the achievement.

The best way here is to pick up every new artifact you see, not the one you already used before and liked. Otherwise, after finishing the game for all heroes, be ready to make at least ten more runs to unlock artifacts which are still hidden in Depository: check their number and find it in the list to understand which you still don't have.

If you collected them all and achievement doesn't unlock anyway - re-launch the game and open the Depository.

23. Line one's pockets

Line one's pockets

You need to have 3000 coins in your pocket.

Choose the Warrior for easier run. Do not purchase anything in a shop, unless it's "Economicon" artifact and save, save, save coins.

24. Be Friends

Be Friends

Well, it's pretty clear what to do to get this one.
