Ah, ok. But if you aren't the medic's priority, then wouldn't the back scratcher be the second best as it does more damage and increases your heals from health packs?

Powerjack is by far the most useful because of the speed boost. You can effectivly rollout 15% faster when using it. The health on kill is also important since you aren't the Medic's priority to heal. Really what makes the Powerjack the best is the speed boost because it lets you get around so much faster.

What about melee weapons, though? The axtinguisher deploys at a slow but excusable speed with the degreaser, and the back scratcher can kill a kunai spy in a single swing.

It's not really Highlander, just Pyro. Soldier, Spy, Demo, and Engi all have pretty flexible loadouts.

Highlander's strictness really depresses me :P I really thought that the stock loadout with the third degree would be best as you don't give up afterburn damage and have a really low afterburn cost.

I'm going to test that.

Because of the lower switch speed, it takes longer for stock to Puff-N-Sting making it have less DPS.
