Another important aspect to consider when generating characters is to allocate maximum points to vision, hearing, and agility. Vision and hearing do not actually improve in the game, but they are crucial for combat encounters. Agility improves only slightly. you can reduce the strength and stamina values to a minimum, because you can actually pump them up by carrying heavy items and moving around in crouched mode. The improvement happens not only in combat mode, so if you want to play a little bit of a munchkin, you can always spend 20-30 minutes of your free time crawling and running around the already cleared map with an overloaded inventory. The same goes for the skill of engineering. Just set up and defuse your own mines.
