Whispering Willows walkthrough

This is a step by step guide for the game.

There are other objects in the game which I haven't mentioned that you can interact with but are not crucial to finish the game.

I suggest you read all the notes and diary inserts to fully understand the story.

This was my second time playing so please comment if there are any mistakes or errors.

Here goes!


Catacombs:

Move to the left and pick up the amulet.

Move to the right and crawl through the space.

Continue right until you meet the Flying Hawk.

Change into ghost form and go through the small gap above the door to the right.

Move to the right and push the lever up to open the door.

Change back to human form and go through the door.

Go up through the first door you come to.

Go left and down the ladder.

Go down the next ladder and move left to the next ladder.

Go up and left through the door then change to spirit form.

Go through the gap in the ceiling and go left, then down through the gap.

Push the lever up to open the door.

Return to human form and take the key on the left.

Go as far right as you can, pick up the note and read it.

Go left and down the ladder.

Go left and up through the first door.

Go left and down the ladder.

Open the door with storage key.

Go to the far left and pick up the note.

Change form and got through the gap in the ceiling.

Go to the far right and speak to the ghost.

Push up the lever to the left.

Change back to human form and go to the far right.

Go up the ladder and right through the door.

Go right past two ladders and pick up the note from the crate.

Go right and down the ladder.

Go to the far left and pick up the Crescent Moon key.

Run to the right to the closed door.

Change form, go through the gap above the door and push the lever up.

Change back to human form and run up the ladder to the right.

Go left and take the first ladder up and up the next ladder on the right.

Go to the right and through the door.

Go right and take the first ladder up.

Continue right and open the door with the crescent key.

Go up the stairs outside to the Garden.

Garden:

Go as far right as you can and pick up the note.

Go left and pick up the bucket.

Change form and speak to the ghost at the gate.

Go left through the first door.

Go through the first door to the left.

Go left into the tool shed and pick up the note and shovel.

Exit the tool shed and go back through the first door.

Go left and into the Guest House.

Guest House:

Enter the first door to the left and pick up the note to the right.

Go back through the door and open the door to the left.

Change form and speak to the ghost at the piano.

Continue left and pick up the note.

Go left through the door at the foot of the stairs.

Go right, pick up the note and change form.

Speak to the ghost, change form and exit back through the door on the left.

Go left up the stairs and open the curtains.

Change form and go through the gap in the ceiling.

Go right and down through the gap.

Move the chest of drawers away from the door.

Change form and go right through the door.

Open the curtains, move right and open more curtains.

Go through the first door on the right.

Change form and go through the gap above the door.

Navigate through the maze and into the room on the left.

Go to the picture and straighten it up to reveal a small space to the right.

Change form and crawl left through the space.

Pick up the sheet music from the table and crawl back through the space.

Go through the door, got right and open the curtains.

Go right up the ladder and left through the first door.

Go right and pick up the note.

Go left and change form.

Go through the gap above the door.

Talk to the ghost and change back to human form.

Go back out through the door, right down the ladder and left as far as you can.

Go back down the stairs, go right to the piano and change form.

Talk to the ghost and go down the now visible ladder.

Go to the right and dig the ground.

Move back left and up the ladder.

Go far right and exit the Guest House.

Garden:

Go through the first door on the right.

Go right and pick up the note on the window ledge.

Go right past the doors and change form at the second tree.

Talk to the ghosts then float straight up and enter the open window.

Got to the left and see the ghost.

Exit through the window.

Go right and attach the bucket to the well.

Go down the well to free Flying Hawk and then go up and out again.

Go to the left and go through the mansion double doors.

Mansion:

Change form, go right and speak to the ghost.

Change form and pick up the note to the left of the stairs.

Walk up the left stairs, change form and speak to the ghost to the left.

Go to the far left, up and pick up the note.

Go right and possess the desk.

Push the table as far left till it falls.

Go up through the hole in the ceiling and possess the switch to the left and push it.

Change form and walk to the left and up the stairs.

Go up the ladder, got right and open the door.

Continue right and pull the commode away from the gap in the floor.

Change form and go through the gap.

Possess the key to the left and take it back through the gap in the ceiling.

Drop the key next to Elena, change form and pick up the trophy room key.

Go back left, down the ladder and stairs.

Go right, down the stairs and up the right side of the stairs.

Go right and open the trophy room.

Go right and pick up the note from the table.

Go up the stairs and through the door.

Go left and click on the fox.

Walk left to the bear and change form.

Go to the far right and talk to the ghost.

Go through the gap in the floor and pick up the note.

Change form and pick up the note.

Go down the stairs, change form and got through the gap above the door.

Possess the shield and move it.

Change form and move right through the door.

Continue right to the stairs (look out for a spider, you can see it in ghost form!) and go down.

Go left and pick up a note then to the far left to get the letter.

Go back right and up the stairs.

Wait for the spider to go left then go to the top of the stairs.

Change form and watch for the spider to go in the hole in the wall.

Change back and run past the hole.

Go up the stairs and to the right through the door.

Go right, down the stairs then left to the main staircase.

Go down to the right at the elevator, change form and talk to ghost.

Float to the upper left of main staircase and talk to the ghost in the room.

Change form and go through the double doors at the main staircase.

Garden:

Go left to the tool shed and enter.

Go the clock and move the hands to four o clock.

Change form and talk to the ghost.

He will give you the bloody key so change form and exit the tool shed again.

Go through the first door to the left.

Go right and through the first door.

Go to the far left and enter the Catacombs again.

Catacombs:

Go left and down the ladder.

Go through the first door on the left and go down the two ladders.

Go to the left and through the door.

Go right and open the door with the bloody key.

Go right and pick up the shirt.

Go left and out the door again.

Go right past the ladder, up the second ladder and up again.

Go right and through the door.

Go right and up the ladder.

Continue right and up the stairs.

Garden:

Go right and through the first door.

Go left and through the first door.

Go right and enter the double doors.

Mansion:

Go to the right, change form and talk to the ghost.

Change form and exit through the double doors again.

Garden:

Go left and through the first door.

Go right through the first door.

Go right to the gate and change form.
