Info
If you are getting issues with the game not running in 60 FPS despite using DSFix to unlock it, you can try running monitoring software with the game.

I've found running certain monitoring software while using DSFix to unlock the framerate has kept the framerate from reverting back to 30. I think this is what is happening with some people's games.

You might get minimal stutter in your game doing this, but I think it's worth it and I have only experienced it when loading new areas of the game. If anything, I think it's worth it to play the game in a smoother feeling state.
The fix
Try this:

- ensure the FPS counter is enabled and visible in on-screen display of your monitoring software while your game is running.

I have used MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision for this, and they both work.

- set FPS threshold to 10 in DSFix (only if you have a beefy rig or can actually max the game)

- keep the unlock FPS setting in DSFix unlocked, I remind you

No idea how this works. It just does for me. I've seen people post about their FPS not unlocking despite using DSFix. It could work for you if your framerate isn't unlocking for no reason.
