Introduction
Normally a VN this simple shouldn't need an achievement guide,
especially if you've read Vol.0 and Vol.1,
but since I did one for Vol.0 back in August 2015, might as well do it for Vol.2.

Cheerio =D

If you think the pictures are too small, just click on it with the mouse, Steam should zoom on it.
Begin Achievement
..............this pretty much explains itself right? =D
Story Achievements
Impossible to miss as you read through the story for the first time.
========================================================
7 chapters = 7 acheivements; triggers at the end of every chapter.
Also a useful indicator for you to save game at the start of every chapter.
Petting Achievements
On Vol.2, I'm sure you guys are already familiar with the E-mote system through the earlier 2 volumes, so, this is immediately do-able when you see the 2.5D characters.

Click on the hand icon on the top right of the screen, then click away at any area of the catgirls.

The face, chest and belly regions have their own separate meows, unique per character.
Have fun.

- Click again on the hand icon to exit petting mode and continue with the story.
- You can also right click to exit petting mode.
==============================================================================

In the very first chapter itself before the OP, the order of 2.5D appearance you can pet will be
Shigure ---> Azuki --> Chocola --> Vanilla --> Maple --> Cinnamon -> Coconut

=================================================================

There is an extra catgirl achievement for Vol.2,
which we originally know as Food Stand Cat from Vol.1,
now getting an upgrade to become a named character, Milk.
Her first 2.5D appearance is almost immediately after the OP, so click away =D.
Jiggle Achievement
Also another Nekopara tradition across all Volumes so far.

If you forgot, just hit keyboard button "P" when you see a 2.5D character you can interact with, with the very first one being Shigure before the OP.

Also remember to toggle the settings to your liking.
==============================================================================
Minor note

In Full Screen Mode, you can only jiggle vertically,
but in Window Mode, you can jiggle in 8 directions.
Language Achievements
The first time you boot the VN, you will be asked to choose a language to start with.
Instant achievement when you begin the game. =D
*In my case I went with English.

=====================================================================
You can get the remaining two achievements through the settings itself during the game.

Go to settings, switch Main Text to a 2nd language, go back to game and click to progress,
and pop, there goes your 2nd language achievement.

Repeat again for 3rd language.

Off-topic recommendation
So......what to do after Vol.2 until the next Volume gets done?
Anything else on Steam that would be interesting enough to hold your attention?

Do you like indie 2D side-scrolling action / platformer / metroidvania games?
If you do, you might want to check out another game on Steam; Rabi-Ribi.
http://steamproxy.net/steamstore/app/400910/

There's a cute reference to Chocolate & Vanilla in that game
===================================================================
Ok, ok, easter eggs aside, here's a comprehensive, serious review that I've found.

Your best option for gameplay previews would be random Youtube videos;
but here's a nice one.

As someone who has played much of it, (>100 hours, 100% acheivements, one long guide)
I'd say its worth your time. Strongest aspects would be gameplay, exploration and soundtrack.
Story is rather okay-ish. Then again, I wonder how many of you here actually buys Nekopara just for the story. =D

Side-note:
Both Nekopara Vol.2 and Rabi-Ribi have Overwhelmingly Positive status.

I know this one friend who has an achievement called "That something that shakes..."

Later that day, I asked him what this kind of game was.

If playing in English, for example, without going to "Settings" one simply may press the <J> key to change language to Japanese and left-click or press <Space> to go to the next speech panel, and thereby earn the "Play in Japanese" Achievement.

Similarly, pressing the <C> key will switch the language to Chinese. Then left-clicking or pressing <Space> will advance to the next panel and earn the "Play in Chinese" Achievement.

Pressing <E> will return the language to English. :Norse:
