Introduction

Steam items such as Trading Cards, Emoticons, Backgrounds, Gems, In-game items and Games (referred to as Steam Gifts) can be traded and thus, are called tradable. You can initiate a trade with anyone in a Group Chat or on your Friends List. You can also send a trade offer to someone if you don't have him added but need that steam user's specific trade link in order to do so. You can control who sees your items with Inventory privacy settings. The options are public, friends only or private. You can adjust these settings through your Inventory or your general Profile settings.

You can see your Inventory items by hovering over your profile name in the top-middle of the Steam screen and selecting Inventory from the drop-down menu. You can also find a link in the right-hand menu of your profile page.
Scammers
Scammers are everywhere, they are literally..... everywhere. These people will try to use "phishings, glitching ♥♥♥♥, impersonation etc" to get your steam items. First rule of dodging these scammers is to never accept a friend request from a under level 10 profile who looks fishy and has no games, they will send you a phishing link and get your items. If they phish you then you will have to deal with Steam Support in order to retrieve your items, which is a customer support team filled with People over age 80 and take 2 - 3 months to solve the simplest problems. Bottom line - Don't get scammed else get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ by Steam Support.

We have dealt with Phishing links, now it's time to face stupid trade offers.
This is fake as you can see. No one can just transfer Funds through steam trade offers. Steam Wallet Funds or any form of money is untradable. You CAN'T trade steam wallet. If someone offers you Steam Wallet Codes then proceed on your own risk, these kind of trades are usually fake. Never go first.

If you use CSGO Lounge then beware of another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ scamming trick. In this trick, usually 2 accounts add you at same time. One of them will offer you something for your valuable item [Knife in this case] and the conversation will go something like this -

Scammer: Ayy lmao, i giev u 1000 cs keys for ur bayo FN. Kek?
You: That seems too good to be true...
Scammer: Ayy lmao, i good guy, i giev u overpay :D
You: Thanks!!
Scammer: I n33d to chek if ur knife is legit or glitched
You: Glitched?
Scammer: YEE, glitched.
You: So, what i need to do?
Scammer: is there any1 u trust on steam??
You: Yes, my best bud - Jeff and here his profile - "You give his profile link"
Scammer: kek, give him kn1fe.

Now, the scammer will change the name of 2nd account [] that added you and send you trade request. You will think that your friend sent you trade request BUT NO! It's that 2nd account that sent you friend request along with that scammer.

You: I gave Jeff my knife.
Scammer: I ♥♥♥♥♥ ur mumma, i got ur knief now. sux it.
Scammer is now offline.

So, as you can see. You got scammed by Scammer and Jeff got framed. Poor Jeff.

If you know the basics of Steam Trading and Apply Knowledge of Steam Trading, you can evade any kind of steam scam. I recommend you all to use SteamRep [steamrep.com] to check if a steam user is scammer or not.
Lost Items?
You lost items? Chill. You have to contact the Slow Steam Support now but it's better to wait and get your items rather than waiting forever. Go to - https://support.steampowered.com/ and sign to your support account. Your Steam Account is not SAME as your Support Account, If you never created one then do it now. After that, you can proceed to complain by creating a ticket and following the instructions on screen. Make sure to scan your computer for Malware or any harmful virus that may have caused this unfortunate event. After this, your account may get banned for security purposes []. So, play some games meanwhile. If your whole account was hijacked then go..... Go Outside.
Steam Community Items

Steam Community Items include trading cards, emoticons, backgrounds and gems. These items can be obtained through various methods. Trading Cards can be obtained by card drops or by trading. Emoticons and backgrounds can be obtained by Crafting Badges. Gems can be obtained by turning trading cards, emoticons and backgrounds into gems. For more detailed explanation: Go here [http//Go+here]

If you wanna trade these items then you can go to the Steam Trading Cards Group chat room, it's the best place for trading these items. You can also visit other group chatrooms. If you plan on selling Trading Cards then you should sell complete sets. You can sell around 4 - 5 Card Sets for 1 CSGO Key [around $2] and then cash out. But beware that some sets may be expensive than others.
Steam Gifts

Steam gifts are now popular in trading. Any game from the Steam Store can be purchased and kept in inventory for trading. Any game you’ve purchased from the store as a gift, or received as an Extra Copy, can be traded to other users 30 days after their original purchase. They can be used to trade for other Gifts, or for items in games supporting Steam Trading. If you would like to purchase a gift and save it in your Inventory or use it in a Steam trade at a later time, please choose 'Store the gift in my inventory to send later' when checking out.

Only games that have been bought as a gift, and thus have never been played, can be traded. Once the Steam Gift is opened and added to your game library, you won’t be able to trade it again. These gifts are non - marketable so you can't sell them in the Steam Community Market like other steam items. The best payment when buying or selling Steam Gifts is CSGO Keys []. These are the best payment because their price stays usually constant and are around a good $2. So, it's easier to purchase or sell Steam Gifts. Even most of the traders sell/purchase Steam Gifts for CSGO Keys. You can buy with TF2 keys too but in my opinion, CSGO Keys are more popular. In case you come across a trader who supposedly wants 1.5 keys for his game gift. You may be thinking that how you are supposed to pay that 0.5, The way to pay this 0.5 is by paying that trader a CSGO Capsule Key or TF2 Tour of Duty Ticket [You CAN buy these from Community Market]. These 2 items are worth around 1 Dollar so they are half a key.

Trading Steam Gifts

One of the best place where you can trade your Steam Gifts is SteamGifts [www.steamgifts.com] Website. Here you can connect with many other traders who are looking to buy and sell Steam Gifts. When you come across any Steam Trader on that website, you can click on their profile picture to see their Steamgifts profile, there you can see that particular person's feedback and can know whether he is a scammer or not. You can also check out their Steam Group and trade in their chat room/discussions.

Another place to trade your gifts and even other steam items is Steam Trading Cards Group . You can try to find other steam groups too but make sure they have alot of members [Active Group].
In-Game Items
In Game Items usually have Case items that must be un-cased by purchasing a certain key. Exceedingly rare items [Expensive] are kind of like unusuals from TF2 or Knives in CSGO. They will not drop and you must be lucky enough to find one in a case. CSGO and TF2 items are ones that are popular, even though there are other Games that support inventory items such as Payday 2, H1Z1 Just Survive or H1Z1 King of the Kill. Items such as CSGO knives can have value upto $400! If you have multiple of these expensive items, you can downgrade your item and get multiple items. These skins are sometimes criticised for the microtransactions but slowly the community is accepting them but some still hate it. You can buy these skins or any in game item from the community market but they need to be marketable. Some items may be unmarketable or untradable such as some TF2 achievement drop gear or CSGO Service medals.
Gaining Profit
One way to gain profit is by trading your steam items 1:2, by giving an item that the other trader needs in exchange for 2 items or by downgrading your items but receiving overpay. This method of gaining profit is hard but you can try this for gaining for Steam Trading Cards. You can use the ratio 1:1 for Same Set Cards and 1:2 For Different Set Cards - For Example: Jeff gives 2 Half Life cards for your 1 Payday card [1:2 since different game]. Example 2: Jeff gives 1 Payday card for 1 Payday card of yours to complete his set [1:1 since same game set].

If you think you are lucky then find some betting websites... There are numerous betting websites for CSGO items. Just. Don't. Lose.If you sell Steam Gifts then buy cheap game gifts during sales and then sell them during non - sale days for a bit profit. If you play CSGO then there is no harm for trying to open some cases and trying to get a knife. If you get a knife, if you are a hardcore CSGO player then you will keep it. If not, then sell it and buy whatever you want - Stuff for trading or games during sale. There really aren't any ways to massive profit but you can always try. You probably even have some friend that does not care about his inventory items he has, take his/her items.... Take it all.
