Using a DualShock 4
By Panda Behr
This is a quick guide for people using a DualShock 4 (idk if the new fightsticks count as DS4's too).

Setup
For the visual learners

To play with a DS4 as an xbox360 controller, you need:

A DualShock 4
A microusb cable or blutooth capable wireless card (2.0 or greater)
This program: http://ds4windows.com/ (I am not the creator or owner of DS4Windows)

Download the zip and extract to anywhere.
Run the DS4Windows.exe and go through the setup; it will install xbox 360 and DS4 drivers all on it's own.

Launch the program and go to settings and check the hide DS4 option (this prevents your computer from seeing the dinput version of the DS4)

I, personally, would also check the launch at start up box.

This pretty much all you need to know for a standard usage experience, but if you wish to use more features like binding buttons to keyboard actions or change the color of the lightbar (mine's a rainbow), you can do that in the profiles tab. A common problemt is double inputs being read in some games (hasn't happened to me in SFV) which can be fixed by closing DS4Windows through task manager, then close steam and any program that uses a controller. Then launch DS4Windows and click "Connect DS$ Exclusively (experimental)". Then you either plug in or connect though BT. More info on features and such at http://ds4windows.com/

Oh sht, sorry, this is old as fck, I don't know why it poped up on my steam overlay with the newer sht.

I used DS4Windows before I realized that there's more input delay than native support.

+Tk. "Posted Feb 16, 2016 @ 10:34am" Steam support for DS4 wasn't a thing at the time. Also DS4Windows still has many more levels of functionality than current steam support (for those who care at least)

But steam supports it natively

+ROFLJOHNNY` In the controller tab, it should show the controller w/an id, status (blutooth or USB), battery (regardless of bluetooth or usb, and the current profile. Make sure in teh settings tab, you check hide DS4 and use X-input ports is set to 1. You know the program sees the controller if your controller color is blue (or if you cheanged the color, that color).

I have downloaded and installed the program. It sees my controller but when I try to use it in street fighter it's just not working. Is there a setting I'm missing? .. what am i doing wrong ?

DS4Windows seems to only work with the DS4 Controller. I've tried a hori mini, and madcatz sticks without any success. I've been using x360ce instead.

My Hori RAP4 kai doesn't show up on DS4Windows, so I assume none of the other fight sticks do either.

I heard ds4windows have a little delay... so i'm using scp xinput wrapper instead.
