Hey all, welcome to the H.A.M.R. heavy fighter. I'd tell you what the acronym stands for if I had figured it out yet, but I haven't. So. Give me some ideas and I'll give you cake. Generally I'm still experimenting with the DACORP branding, colors and language, so it's all subject to change.

This is the part where I usually write a novel, but since I figured out how to embed images in the description, let's make like Dr. Seuss and do a picture-book instead. Sorry about the crappy screenshot quality.

The fighter you'll be testing is in an underground (underlake?) hanger, which looks like this:



Triggering the sensor next to the control panel will give you access. Once you're scanned in, controls are as follows:



You need to crouch to enter the ship. The door will close behind you after 20 seconds.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:

The Hydrogen Boosters (big engines on either side) are designed for... well... boosting. You don't actually need them for normal operation of the ship, and you can get to orbit without them. However, turning them on gives you huge acceleration and deceleration, which is VERY useful in combat.

Everything is piped (including hanger) and should be survival ready.

#7 on Toolbar 1 will shut off the cockpit screens if you're having trouble with your FPS.

Constantly raising and lowering the hanger elevator will cause any ship on it to jimmy around a bit. Just keep an eye on it; it's possible that it can shift enough to clip the sides on the way up or down.

I have recently developed a hatred for locking-style landing gear; as a consequence this ship has none. It depends on gravity to hold it in place, but I added some mass blocks you can turn on and off for artificial grav.
