Recorded on the final ever winter event; I never did find that invisible yak making all those suggestive moo noises...

I'm using a special build for these races; Super Speed, Super Jump, Acrobatics (for mid air movement) and Sprint all 6 slotted for speed, but not jumping as you want to stay in contact with the snow as much as possible.

After much practice, I managed to get the hard course with the vent-leap down correctly; the trick was to start sliding hard left, on the slalom itself, just as you approach the vent, which gives you enough momentum to pass the rocky outcrop above you, then pull hard right as the course passes in front of you to swing back across and line up with the ramp. If you leap in any other directions you hit the rock, or the underside of your target and fall off the map.

The second right hand path near the end is technically easier, but it's longer and so most people went left and did the smaller leap there. As you can see, you drop about 6-10 seconds on the main course if you try and do both rights, so it wasn't any use for badging. Although my run isn't pixel perfect, it's still not possible to shave another 2 seconds and get to the Gold at 50, due to the distance and fixed hang time in the air; but as an extra challenge it was quite interesting... and now gone for ever. Curse you, NCSoft.
