The Large aquarium
  • 1) get at least a egg(see below for locations)/fish maybe two
  • 2) Build a large aquarium and put a hatch on it
  • 3) Put the egg/fish in the large aquarium
  • 4)wait 5-15 in game days
Small fish breeding
All small fish that you are able to eat can breed but they don't have eggs (not including the spadefish)

sometimes the eggs don't despawn after hatching, allowing them to be used multible times to dupe pets

Also, I don't know if you realised it by now, but Reefback eggs are not in game yet
