Ahh makes sense. I use to model a lot of buildings for Sim City 4 and recall making those kind of choices a few times to make a wall-to-wall building fit its particular layout.

The scale does tend to get a little warped because in reality the building isn't 8 meters wide, so I raise the space between floors a little bit to compensate and keep it looking proportionally similar. The door heights and firsr floor are scaled to the assumption that a person is 1.8-2 meters tall though

Good stuff. Scale on this seems a bit off though. Feels a bit high.
