A solo game about debt, national budgets and other such trouble. As seen on Board Game Geek solo print and play 2015 contest.

Austerity is a compact solo game in which you run a nation struggling under the burden of international debt - make decisions about police funding, investment in private enterprise, whether to crack down on welfare cheats and when best to borrow more money... but if you don't escape debt before your term ends or your bad decisions catch up to you, you'll be out of office and out on the street with the rest of them!

Easy to learn, quick and fun!

@paulyd83 @rybaby and EVERYONE: I've decided to update the game with the optional advanced rules.

-New better tokens with icons
-Every expansion cards are available
-New rules link for version 1.2

yes, it's in the rulebook for this game as an advanced version that uses some cards

@ryan I just read online and it seems that the card version is only an alternative version, but the same core game, no?
